According to religious history, Muslims worship the same God as Jews and Christians do. The division comes in because Muslims believe that Mohammed is God's savior for the world, where as Christians believe it was Jesus. So it doesn't really matter what Jesus says God's name is, Christians would still follow Jesus and Muslims would still follow Mohammed.

Actually, I just want to comment on something that someone else has said. You've got it wrong.
Christians, Muslims and Jews all believe in the SAME God. God? One God. However, Christians associate a son with God, and Jews associate a parnter with God. Beyond that, we all believe in the same God.
It's just that our religions are different. Some think that God can have partners and Sons. And Muhammad isn't a partner of God. Just a Prophet. Someone who helped spread the word of God. Just like Jesus did.
Someone said "it doesn't matter what would get said, Christians would still follow Jesus and Muslims would still follow Prophet Muhammad". Um, actually, Muslims follow both prophets and believe in both prophets -- Jesus and Muhammad.

Jesus is the Son of the one true God.
For Jesus to say "allah" was God's name would mean that Jesus would have to lie since islam denies the true and holy nature of Jesus and of God.

Allah IS God. Muslims, Christians and Jews all worship the same deity, although there are some differences between them. Muslims believe in Jesus (like Mohamed and Moses) as a great prophet, but not that he is God himself.

Not true....the Lord cannot lie....
And not only would He be lying to say that Allah was god, but also He would be making out to be a lie all that He has previously said.

you're actually not putting this as a hypothetical, are you? "i'm proving that those are words OF ALLAH" you have accomplished no such element as much as now. You quote the Quran as evidence of the message in the Quran? How around. "Why dont u talk Quran and its verses, " I did. i found it very revealing that textile there is recent in previous due apocryphal (mythical) Christian gospels which precede the date of the Quran. The Infancy Gospel of Thomas, for in ordinary terms one occasion, for Jesus bringing clay to existence in the form of a poultry. a number of those texts have marked gnostic leanings, and this impact is likewise to be found in the Quran, no longer least in the denial of the two the deity and the crucifixion of Jesus found so for sure in the Bible. You accused me someplace else: "Pedestal 40 two You r easily too far from non secular know-how, u dont have the common theory of God and his common message." you have assumed that, no longer validated that. you have no longer have been given any theory how plenty artwork I easily have put in, what examine I easily have accomplished. What know-how do you have aside from the point of view of Islam from the interior in ordinary terms? " careful study exhibits that Jesus, peace be upon him, refers back to the comparable prophet in John 14:sixteen-17: “and that i'll supply you yet another Counselor (the Prophet Muhammad, could the mercy and advantages of God be upon him), to be with you invariably, even the Spirit of fact.” it somewhat is an ideal occasion of reading-in, and taking a passage out of context. The passage doe no longer have the section in brackets, needless to say, so it somewhat is probably no longer risk-free as though it develop into portion of the citation. this is an further interpretation, in ordinary terms. And the Spirit Counsellor has a proof that has no longer something to do with the Prophet, in the bible (see Acts financial disaster 2). yet once you brush aside one section, you're able to be able to besides brush aside all. there is not any benefit or power in claiming help in ordinary terms from the bits you approve of. it somewhat is a self-working trick. by way of the way, i'm no longer a Christian. I only understand religions, and their histories. and that i look after the Quran bears sparkling symptoms of being human artwork, for all of us who cares to look without needing the query pre-desperate.

Allah is one of the names of God. It is even written as God in the OT. Daniel being one of the books.
The Koran has 99 names recited in a prayer. It is good to pray God's names. But to deny God's complete Diety is wrong.
The Devil has usurped all God's identity somewhere somehow in time's past, now and in the future. The abomination of Desolation (false Messiah) will stand in the temple usurping God's identity.
I believe Jesus Prayed El on the cross when He said "My God (EL), my God (EL), why...?
