noway !! god is not providing Israel with nay sort of divine protection like he used to do in the time of David ,Solomon, Moses, etc.
The Israelites were god's chosen people and after being in the wilderness because of their unfaithfulness , for forty years, they finally entered the 'promised land' after coming up out of Egypt.
After the death of Christ because the Jews rejected Jesus he then became the chief cornerstone. and the opportunity was given to all to become blessed through Jesus sacrifice.
This is in harmony with god's promise to Abraham when he said that ALL THE NATIONS OF THE EARTH would bless themselves by means of his ( Abraham's ) seed ( Jesus the Christ ). so it was not only the sons of Abraham who would eventually benefit and god knew this.
There are many parables Jesus uses to make analogies between his comtemporary generation rejecting him and his message and blessings of the kingdom being opened to all, and other groups. e.g. Matthew 22. Matthew 8: v11,12 ,
Acts 10 : v 34,35. so no longer just the Jews were accepted as god's worshippers.Acts 17 , v 1- 4 Acts 18 v4
looking at these verses you see what you know happened that after the conversion of Cornelius ( not the guy from planet of the Apes ) the way was opened up to be members of the christian congregation to those who were not of he Jewish hetiage/ persuasion.
The Jews today since their temple was destroyed in 70 C.E , are looking to get their land back but if god wanted too he could act to give them it back . he could gather back his chosen people the 'champions of god ' to himself.
Instead after being attacked by the nazis they were given some land but what real clain do they have to it.? It is certainly a religious one. but they rely on their weapons and their Mossad and their western governments to provide them with defense and security yet when i look at the bible i see that Jehovah of Armies used to fight their battles and he gave to them divine protection. The are no longer under mosaic covenant because that was nailed to the stake with Christ. It is definitely not a letigimate argument, and is it not the reason for so much tension in the world today ? we coul do without it ? The Jews are not God's 'chosen ' people any more in my opinion and neither do they practice true worship.

I am jewish and I do not nessisarily think so. Is Israel a Jewish state is there a Jewish King? Muslims have the right to vote there. So I don't think you can argue where God promised to party A and since party B is mostly made out of party A it deserves what party A has. Plus the arguement doesn't work against athiests or buddists ect. because they don't believe it.
There some who think it counts as a religious state and then it does work as an argument twords the religious, In fact not only did God give it to Israel but the holyest sites like Abraham and Sarah grave site were purchased by abraham and the temple mound was purchased by King David. I don't like this because there are some Jews who think that Israel shouldn't exisit until the third temple does.
There definitly is a great claim that Israel has. They were given a couple citys from Brittan in 1948 then all the other nations immediatly attacked Israel and Gods provided Israel with a sort of divine protection like he used to do in the time of the Megilah (Purim story) if not like the protection that David ,Solomon, Moses, etc. had and Israel won and won a bunch of land.
There were subsequent wars where Israel expanded also but afterward Israel gave it back the land to try and get peace.
Oh and congress was still maybe thinking of eliminating the penny because it costs too much, more than it is worth, to produce and it is obsolete.

It is a systematic undeniable fact that topic are not able to come from non-topic ergo the lifestyles of topic confirms an effective energy that created it! Or keep in mind: After commenting on all of the precise stipulations of order and legislation which might be so obvious within the universe, Science News found: “Contemplation of those matters disturbs cosmologists on account that it sort of feels as though such unique and specific stipulations would infrequently have arisen at random. One option to manage the query is to mention the complete factor used to be contrived and lay it on Divine Providence I feel I have offered two credible causes with out resorting to my private ideals...do you a minimum of concede that a few have religion which isn't blind?

God's promises are yes and Amen.
So? Of course God's promises are legit today as well as yesterday and tomorrow. Israel is promised land to Israel. The Messiah, Savior of the World was brought forth through Mary of Israel (Yehuda).
Jesus has two sheepfolds that follow Him as the Good Shepherd. Messianic Jews and Countless number of Christians from all nations. So, Israel is promised restoration. Also is predicted is enemies of Israel. Until Jesus makes it right by tossing the Antichrist, beast, Satan, etc... into the lake of fire.
But restoration of all nations is based on restoration of Israel. So when world leaders tell Israel to leave Gaza or Westbank, other nations will suffer loss. For all boundries have something to to with Israel and their rightful bounderies. When our Presidents encourage Israel to leave Gaza for peace, we suffer. The last time Hurrican Katrina took our land.
I am praying that Israel have the freedom to retake land that has missles aimed at them in the Gaza, West Bank & even Lebanon. Right now Lebanon Hezbola is in a Palistinian reserve rebuilding bunkers and storing bombs. Labanon officials or UN Peacekeepers can't do anything about it. So I guess Israel will have to do something.
With Iran going nuclear. Nuclear dirty bombs to terrorists is a sure thing. Even Venezuala hates America and calls our President a satan. Iran & Venezuala don't just want Israel wiped off the map, they want America to be taken over & our constitution destroyed.

Since God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow, and Jesus said heaven and earth will pass away, but His word will never pass away, what God promises stands forever. Anything God has promised, anything He has said He will do, He will do.

Even if one believes the bible, there is nothing in it that justifies, or suggests the existence of you know where. Most of the practising Jews I know, who take their religion very seriously, think that Zionism is a bit outside their beliefs.
Actually I won't go on as the quick and correct answer is:NO.

Yes, until "He" makes his appearance on CNN and announces it, then it's just a metaphor. Maybe 'the land' is in Heaven, can we put all these people on the express bus?
Besides, we all know that 'promises' were made to be broken!
