Cause death is a part of life...we celebrate birthdays, so we celebrate someone's passing. Alot of cultures began rituals to celebrate their forefathers.

day of the dead is llike hallween but we honor the dead by placing sacrifices on th tombstones and the dead communicates with the living

That is a strange question. Living humans have always acknowledge their emotional connections to their family who have passed on. The day is all about saying "We havent forgotten you".
