From my own experiences, I think some people feel guilty about accepting or having to accept Jesus because the religions and leaders who claim they are Christians and following in his footsteps are so terribly opposite of the teachings Jesus preached of when on earth.
The churches of Christians have one of the longest, bloodiest histories as any military regime ever on Earth. You mention turning to Islam, they equally have a bloody and violent history in total opposition to the Prophet admonishments.
So ironic that these entities that are suppose to promote love and peace, are the very things which cause the most harm to humans and the world they live in. Obviously, the original mission and words of Jesus have been turned to the selfish purposes of mankind, to suite their own desires.
If you are studying Christianity, you will have read or been taught about a being called Satan, Lucifer, a fallen angel and leaders of other angels who chose to become demons/devils. It is stated within the Bible that this entity and his followers are hiding and misusing what was meant to be a message of peace and salvation for humans to actually turn them away from God.
I am personally very anti-religion, but not anti-Christian, anti-Muslim or any group of believers. I believe the original good purposes have been turned by church leaders and others throughout time to suit their own greed, and desires for power over others, desire for land and richers.

I am not sure why you are so angry. But Jesus was both man and the son of God. God used Jesus as a means to walk amongst his people. Reading books may not be enough for you, try attending a few different denominations to hear their message and see what clicks for you. Many pastors and priests are available for discussion, should have questions.
Being confused is normal, and you shouldn't be so quick to run to another religion. Educate yourself first and then decide what you need in your life.
I was on the fence for a long time, then I found a church that truly spoke to me and now I have a firm understanding of my faith.

Misunderstanding.
Jesus was a (man) the Son of God. Threw the shedding of Jesus's blood we are forgiven (unless you want to go back to sacrificing animals). Even Jesus prayed to God.
Usually when people feel angry about doing something good it is because the sacrifice needed is to demanding. You may need a psychologist!

Not once in the holy scriptures did Jesus Christ say he was the Almighty God. Read John 17:3 which states that Jesus prayed to his Father. He wouldn't pray to himself. Jesus Christ is King right now in heaven ruling since he was appointed in 1914. He also was a master worker beside his Father Jehovah before he was sent down to Earth.

Did it ever occur to you that this is exactly the way the devil wants you to act? He doesn't want you to give your life to Jesus and will do everything he can to keep you from it.
And one of his most effective tricks is to make us look at ourselves rather than at Christ. As long as you focus on yourself, you will always believe you're too weak, and doubt if you are strong enough to be a Christian. You also will manage to think up all sorts of "reasons" why it doesn't make sense for you to give your life to Christ.
Don't focus on yourself; focus instead on Jesus Christ and what He did for you. Do you want to know if God loves you? Look at Christ as He hung on the cross and shed His blood for you. Do you want to know if there is life beyond the grave? Look at Christ after His resurrection from the dead. He alone could say, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). Why doubt any longer?
And I urge you not to delay. Don't be like the official to whom the Apostle Paul spoke, who said, "That's enough for now! You may leave. When I find it convenient, I will send for you" (Acts 24:25). But he never did. By a simple prayer of faith ask Christ to come into your life right now—and He will.

Maybe because He isn't God he is God's Son Have a look at Colossians3:1where it says that Jesus is sitting at the right hand of God, that would be impossible if he was God!And there are lots more Scriptures that disprover the theory that Jesus were God. He Is NOT!!!!!!!

Did you sincerely pray about the things you read? The Bible says "Ask and ye shall receive". But you have to ask a testimony of the divinity of Jesus Christ doesn't just come from reading. The same goes for Mohammad. If you go in that direction. you need to sincerely pray about it first.

Excuse me for being so blunt about it, but you have an enemy and he is called satan. Satan knows that the only name under heaven by which anyone will be saved is Jesus Christ. That anger is not originated by you....it is being given to you by the one who would keep you away from Jesus Christ, the only path to the Father.
Satan would love you to go to Islam.....his religion, that denies Jesus as savior. Be extremely careful what you choose and who you let influence you.

Enmity: I will forsake you, the city, your fathers... Law
Friend: I will never leave thee nor forsake thee... Grace
Compare-i-son:
Jesus: division, and not peace... Law
Christ: peace, and not divided... Grace
Mark & avoid them which cause divisions.
No man is justified by the law in God's sight.
Christ is our peace, who abolished the law(enmity)
To wit: that God was in Christ reconciling the world.
Try (test drive) the two Spirits:
Law isn't sufficient, try Grace.
Grace is sufficient, flush Law.
The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.
