Baked Sweet Potato Wedges

Ingredients:

Cooking spray.
4 large sweet potatoes, scrubbed, eyes removed, cut lengthwise into
3/4-inch wedges
1 teaspoon paprika
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Dash of cayenne pepper (optional)

Directions:
Preheat oven to 400°F.

Lightly spray nonstick baking dish or cast-iron skillet with cooking spray. Spray potato wedges with cooking spray and toss together with all spices in a bowl.

Place potatoes in a single layer in the baking dish or skillet. Bake for 20 minutes. Turn over and bake an additional 20 minutes.

Serves 8. Approximate per serving: 125 calories; 0 grams of fat.

Sweet Potato Wedges with Rosemary

Ingredients:



2 lbs. sweet potatoes

1-2 teaspoons vegetable oil

Sprinkle of lemon juice and rosemary



Directions:



1. Wash and cut sweet potatoes into sticks or wedges.
2. Place potatoes in a bowl and toss with oil, then spread out onto a baking sheet and sprinkle with rosemary.

3. Bake about 30 minutes at 375 degrees, or until browned and tender. You may want to turn potatoes over half way through baking time.

4. Sprinkle with lemon juice, if desired.

Spicy Sweet Potato Wedges

6 sweet potatoes (about 2 1/2 lb.)
2 teaspoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Peel potatoes; cut each potato lengthwise into quarters.
Put the potatoes in a large bowl; coat with cooking spray.
Combine the remaining ingredients; sprinkle over potatoes, tossing well to coat.
Arrange potatoes, cut sides down, in a single layer on a baking sheet.
Bake at 500° for 10 minutes; turn wedges over.
Bake for 10 more minutes or until tender and beginning to brown.

1/4 c Orange juice
1/4 ts Cinnamon
2 md Sweet potatoes; peeled and
.. cut into eight wedges
Orange slices; optional
Parsley sprigs; optional

Melt butter in an 8" square dish in the microwave.
Stir in orangae juice and cinnamon.

Add potato wedges, toss to coat well. Cook,
covered with wax paper 6-8 minutes, or until
tender, stirring halfway through. Garnish with
oranges and parsley, if desired.

2 lb sweet potatoes peeled and cubed
2 tsp olive oil
1 tsp curry powder
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1/4 tsp ground cloves
1/4 tsp ground black pepper

Method :
Preheat oven to 425.
Peel and cube sweet potatoes and combine in a bowl with remaining ingredients. Toss gently to coat. Place wedges on a baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes or until very tender.
NOTES : I will definitely make this again!!

Garlic Oven Potatoes

4 medium potatoes, quartered and sliced
1 onion, peeled and sliced
2 Tbsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 1/2 tsp. Garlic Salt
1/2 tsp. Pepper

In large resealable plastic bag, shake together all ingredients until evenly coated. Spray baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray; spread potato mixture out on baking sheet. Bake in preheated 400°F oven for 45 minutes, stirring after 30 minutes.

Chili Sweet Fries

Sweet Potatoes
Chili powder
Oil

Prehat oven to 400. Peel potatoes, slice thin, similar to french fries. Add 2-3 tbsp oil to a large bowl, add potatoes. Sprinkle well with chili powder. Arrange in a single layer in a baking pan or dish and bake 20 - 30 minutes or until cooked through.

I like to place the wedges in a foil wrapper with butter, brown sugar and cinnamon drizzled over them. DELISH!!

do them the same as ordinary potatos - peel, chop to size u requre, heat oil in pan, toss them into the hot oil. or you can parboil them for a few minutes before roasting
