North American stereotypes and planks of what is considered normal are different from other continents of the world... Age is a relative measurement of maturity.... no person has the same level of maturity at any particular age as his or her contemporary.
Males and females develop sexual desires at an age appropriate to them. Therefore biologically speaking it isn't too early to have an intercourse. Back in the day, 25 was considered too old for a female to get married and have kids, and marriages occurred as soon as the girl was sexually mature. The thing you have to worry about is protecting yourself not only from unwanted pregnancies and std's but also emotionally. And ask yourself what is the real reason you are having sex? Is it because you feel you love that person, is it because you think he/she would stay with you if you do, to experiment and if you are ready to engage in intercourse. It sounds like you are uncertain about the decision you made. Physically you might have been ready, but are you emotionally and cognitively? I can't say, so think about that, rather than emphasize the age. If that were me, I would care less what other people think if that was too early or too late for me...too right or too wrong, these statements don't apply. What matters is how you feel about it.

when you was 14 you should be doing what a 14 should be doing - achieving the best in school not having sex but not matter what you can' t turn back the clock and undo the things that you have done in your life. the most important thing is to realise that it' s not right and focus for a better life ahead. you can only make the best for the future but not changing the past no matter what. so whatever that you do in the future think deeply first don't let emotions over rule cause we don't have much time to regret. time will move on and we only have once to live. whatever that we do they are consequences in it.......

It depends on the maturity level of you physically and mentally. If you have matured enough physically to have sex and are mature enough mentally to understand the consequences and know what it really means to you. (which is rare at your age) THEN, id say go ahead. Nothing anyone says is going to be able to stop you from what you want to do anyway. BUT, you should also consider who your doing it with. Most guys your age are not to that maturity level yet and most likely its not going to be a good or strong relationship. ALSO, if the guy is over like 16, his maturity level is definitly not very good and most likely hes one of those guys that isnt good with girls so he thinks he can just drop to one a few years younger. I would not do it with anyone over 16 if I were you. Remember not to do anything in the moment and be careful. i.e. protection and trust. Be careful.

Dear lippomercy's,
Where are your parents is a better question?
Yes way to early. You wanna try to raising your own baby? You are still just a kid yourself. Take time to be a kid there's no hurry to rush into anything sexual at your age. Be a kid you have plenty of time still! Oops but I maybe wrong, kids are starting younger & younger. I think you should wait & mature more first. Relax & :0)

YES! STOP IT RIGHT NOW! Do you wanna have to look back when you're 40, and say, "Wow, I was a slut!"? I'm telling you right now, you're doing yourself a HUGE disfavor by being sexually active at your age! Most of the problems teen-agers encounter, stem from being too grown up too soon. Childhood and innocense, once lost, can NEVER be regained! It's not too late for you to change! If you want to have a bright future, you need to plan for it NOW!

yes that is way too early, take it from someone who knows. I was 13 (on my birthday) when i lost it to a guy that was way older than me at my party. (aunts house not supervised) and after he dumped me 2 weeks later, i didnt have sex or anything until i was 16. and then it all started to spiral. any guy or chick that gave me attention i seemed to fall for, give em what they wanted and they left. and that went on for almost 2 years. i was emotional abuse and ppl just used me. well, i met my husband and he help me straighten out my life and feels but i still felt like a ho and everything that never leaves, as much as you want to forget, you will never forget. so i say. wait until you truely fall in love, not no puppy love sh99 but the real thing. dont just give it out. you will mess you up for life, not to mention the stds and things. *i was lucky and didnt recieve any* but you may not . so please just dont!!!!

14 is too early, but most people do end up starting out young. it is your life, but just be really careful and get educated about the dangers of stds and pregnancy.

Before you make a bid decision like that you should thinkabout ALL of the consequences. I guess you failed to do so. Just as long as you were protected and you learned, then nothing is wrong now.!
