I think it's great. It's an example of our democracy at work. I love that immigrants actually have an opinion and participate in the political process. It's how this country was founded, and how it needs to continue into the future!

What I feel about the issue that you are talking about is this:
If the legal immigrants are Republicans like you say, that means that they're Conservative, that they will defend the USA against any illegals that come to our country.
In the other hand the Democrats are defending the illegals that are coming to our country and I think that this make them irresponsible because anything that's illegal is bad for the country. So like you said, the Republicans are pro legals and the Democrats are pro illegals, that make sense.Right.

I have not heard this for illegals and actually find it to be contrary to what I would think considering they are usually poor and uneducated. They cannot vote in our elections unless they are here legally, registered and put a vote in the ballot box.
The fact is that people immigrating to this country, legally, in the past have been registered as republican. Now, what does that mean? Most likely that a party worker got their names and convinced them to sign up. Simple. Many switch once they find out what the differences are between the parties. For example; many Jews who immigrated to this country in the 1930-1940's eventually registered as democrats.

I didn't know that we'll have to punish the Republican severely!
In 2005 as many as 4 - 10- million illegal aliens crossed into the United States illegally.
During 2005, Boarder Patrol apprehended approximately 1.2 million illegal aliens; of those 165,00 were from Countries other than Mexico. Of the non-Mexican aliens, approximately 650 were from special interest countries. (Terrorist countries)

That's why I love LEGAL IMMIGRANTS,they are intelligent
They know whats right for this country because they work and pay taxes .After years of being a liberal democrat,I am an Independent, because I think for myself,I don't let anyone do my thinking for me.The Democrats actually are pushing amnesty for illegals as a way of pandering to the legal voter. They cant keep that promise,it will not happen .Its simply lies and promises.Lies aren't laws and promises aren't contracts.

I'm an Independent, and frankly I don't care what party has the majority, as long as they're competent in reading a map...and have a demonstrated allegiance to the american people and not some hare-brained pro-global whatsis...

IF they are legal, Then they're just like the rest of us, It's up to them who they chose to vote for & which party they support.
.......
IF they're illegal..
They can't legally use it to their benefit anyway.
They're illegal, therefore should not be able to vote & if they are doing so, that is another crime amongst the list of laws they have been breaking in the USA.
