Google Ostomy bag covers and you will find a ton of them. A lot of them are really cute. Lady Bug Industries Inc and C&M Ostomy Supplies are a couple companies that have some. Lady Bug has the cutest.

I had a temporary colostomy some time ago and the ostomy nurse at the hospital told me that there were several varieties of bag available that were more-or-less cheerfully decorated; I didn't feel the need to investigate because I knew that it was temporary but it was nice to know that they were available. I would guess that you're getting regular check-ups and so I'd be inclined to ask your carer for some suggestions for different suppliers.

I assume that you don't actually want the bag to be waving around in the wind and visible to the general public, so may I offer a spot of advice assuming that you're new to the experience? If it's a colostomy (i.e. collects faeces) rather than an ileostomy (collects stomach contents) then you may well find that over time its activities become predictable - for example, mine would perform ten minutes after I woke up, and unless I ate something silly it didn't need to act again until the following morning. I was told that some people get their so well-trained that with the appropriate diet all they need wear is a cap rather than a bag, though I didn't myself get to that stage. You need to be very careful about not letting the skin get sore underneath the bag, and your nurse should show you how to cut your patch to the right shape and size. You might want to use a bag that has a charcoal filter (stops the smell) and it's worth staying away from pale-coloured clothes and tight clothes - at least until you have it trained. And the best cure for constipation - so I was told - is to pop half a peeled kiwi fruit into the gap.

Keep cheerful. You're alive and proud of it. Stay that way!

You can probably "google" this question. Normally ostomy bag covers go under your clothing, now outside for anyone to see. there are several nice varieties. Or you can call an ostomy nurse at your local hospital or medical supply company. they should have them in stock. Godloveya.
