your fine! i don't really know what 65 kgs equals in lbs, but at 5' 7, you are allowed to weigh a little more than the other average height girls.
if you know that you don't look tooo thin or tooo fat, then stop overanilizing yourself.
when i look back on my highschool years i always think about how much the pressures for how i looked and felt about myself tainted my perspective at that time.
boy, do i wish that i could go back with what i know now, cuz all of that would have been the last thing on my mind. it is ridiculous for you to spend time worrying about that. why don't you focus on getting good grades, forging good friendships, sports, and other things that you enjoy, and prepare yourself for your adult life.
adding sports and a healthy eating style is all you need to do at your age.

If your worried about looking different from your friends its a matter of having confidence in your self like you have to be comfortable in your own skin 65 kgs is not at all too much for your height but if you want you can try to convert some of that weight into muscle because not too much of the weight is due to your height you can do to situps and run on the treadmill 1 hour a day.

Don't go by BMI's at your age. You are yet to reach 18 so BMI will not be a good indicator.

Judging by the height and weight, I am guessing that you are slightly on the higher side - especially if you are an Indian. You might play tennis or swim or jog to trim yourself down a bit. Do not try to diet at your age. It is not advisable for the sake of your health

OK, 143 pounds is not bad for your age and height. You could lose say 20 pounds, but is this going to be beneficial to you? Probably not. If you are in excellent physical shape your weight may be ideal. Because muscle weighs more than fat.

Everybody grows differently, that also involves that of height, weight, breadth, and especially bone density. The general puberty range today where the body begins to grow particulary quickly is between twelve and sixteen. However, recentl studies have shown that kids of this generation have started puberty at as young as seven years old. Girls begin puberty earlier than boys do, that is fact.

Of what you describe above, it seems to be that perhaps your family might run a tad on the shorter side. Now, I'm simply going off of what you typed above, that you run roughly 5.7. You could have genes that are brought on by either or father or your mother. Whomever is shorter in your family, that's where you may take it from. If this is the case, it doesn't mean that you are going to be short indefinitely. It does, however mean that you might grow a bit slower than others, that's all. Of what you typed about your weight, it is right on cue, to be exact. Your bones are growing now at your age, and in fact, you will most likely by 90% shoot up another three inches by the time you're out of high school.

If one of your parents runs a little on the heavier side, than depending on your genes, you too may run on the heavier side. But, from what you have described to me here, it doesn't look like that. You say you are of petite to medium build, that sounds like you are on track and maybe even behind by a couple of months in growth. If I were you, like any kid should do of this generation, just watch what you eat in terms of fatty and unhealthy foods, in other words, don't overeat as many children do. Just eat in moderation. And if you don't already exercise, I would consider doing so. Not because you are heavy, but because everybody should. It doesn't matter how thin or heavy one is, a person, regardless of their elder age should start the parctice of exercising on a regular basis to promote healthier living later on in their life.

By starting to exercise now, you can also be assured that you will be able to control your weight as you want as you go throughout your life, also many other beneficial factors are keeping your cholestrol and sodium levels, as well as blood pressure on stable levels.

Remember, don't begin these silly tasks of running five miles a day, take your time, choose what exercise works best for you and do it correctly. If you exercise without knowing how to do so properly, then it's pointless. Exercising on a regular basis, like doing 50 to 70 crunches, depending on your strengh, you can always work up to more, you can start off on ten or more. There's also push ups, jogging, swimming, walking, bicycling - (that's one that I do on a regular basis and proves to be very efficient in leg muscles), there's also jumping-jacks, and many others. Even by getting yourself involved in sports you can exercise that way. This is one way of stimulating your heart and blood flow, which is very beneficial to the body and its natural growth.

Whatever you decide, I'm sure you will make the right decision. Best of luck to you.

Yes, that is perfectly acceptable. It's hard to know whether the weight is coming more from a heavier frame, muscle or fat, but as long as your body fat percentage is below 30%, you are fine and if it is below 25%, you are considered ideal. HTH : )
