Would I be able to use a gun if necessary....? If yes, I'd gladly join when I get a little older. Also, I think that if Bush offered to hire people trained as cops or soldiers (that are out of the service) as border patrol agents, hundreds- possibly thousands- of people would sign up.

I Think That The US Border Patrol Should Be Liquidated
All Border Patrol Assets Should Be Designated
To The National Guard
Border And Port Security Should Be Charged
To A Joint National Guard / Coast Guard Task Force
ie : Militarize The Borders And Ports
We Live In A Post 9 / 11 World
National Security SHOULD Be A Number 1 Priority

Not when they put you in jail for doing your job, and let the criminal go free. I would join if the policy's change. I think we need a double enforced 90 feet high wall and have the border patrol sit in guard towers as well as mobile patrols

I think it is viable career for able bodied person and some interpreters.
I would join but I have other obligations. I work against illegal alien invading our country in other ways.
I donate to those organization that are active in deporting illegal aliens. I also write letters to our politicians and tell them they're BUMS, to let this happen on their watch!
I do encourage young people to pursue it though and I would gladly pay tax dollars in supporting their efforts! The Boarder Patrol should increase it's forces, we don't have enough.

Well if I was the right age and needed a job that I could be proud of yes I would.I am a member of the Minute Men and I'm proud of that fact.Although most of my support has to be monetary at this time.I do attend meetings and briefings.
I would think this job would be ideal for someone that is courageous and loves this nation and respects its laws.
I am in Texas right now and its terrible what has happened in this state. Its even worse than in Arizona where I live.I support our brave men and women of the Border Patrol.
OUR BORDER STATES NEED HELP
Support the Border Patrol
No amnesty
Vote in NOvember
The Minute Men already have jobs, they are doctors, lawyers, business owners, white and blue collar workers and ranchers like myself. They have jobs already
They are all colors and all races, all heritages. They care about this nation.Do you ?

You bet! In a heart beat! If I were eligble I would.
It is not just about border patrol, it is about homeland security.
After traveling to England, the Isle of Man, and Japan last month, I learn just how unsecure our borders are. We have no idea who is in our country.

Considering my career is in Carpentry, not Law Enforcement, it would be a bad idea. I obviously made my choice a long time ago, so my answer would be no, I wouldn't, and no, I didn't.
