63 what? pounds, kilograms?
EDIT: Everyone jumped to the conclusion that she meant pounds, but no. See, I was right to ask.
63kg is pretty heavy for 4'8", it's classified as obese by BMI. I'm 5 kg heavier than that, but 17 inches taller. Anyway, for losing weight it's always the same simple formula - diet and exercise. It doesn't need to be an official diet, just eat healthier foods and do exercise regularly. Try and do exercise tha you enjoy, though. Things like jogging are usually boring, do a sport that you find fun, it'll be much easier to stay motivated. As you start to lose weight make the exercise harder so that you can keep it up. Eat lots of fruit and vegetables and no junk food. It should work.

edit: First of all NO DIETS, yup you heard (read) right. Diets are dangerous , espcecailly when still growng, and dont work. Look at the foods you eat. Do you eat fruits, veggies, lean meat and protein? Cut down on junk like chips soda and candy. You would be suprised how that helps! Lets say you drink 1 can of coke a day. Well if you stop, you could lose 1 pound in 2 weeks, from that ALONE! ALso excercise. 30(at least) mins 3-5 days a week.
dance, swim, play a sport. buy a DDR mat, whatever, just MOVE!
Healthy snacks
Instead of the soda, try 100% juice
instead of candy try frozen or dried fruit
chips? try crunchy veggies or wheat crackers or wheat thins

You really need to gain a little weight, only 63 pounds, you weigh less than my 8 year old daughter. Drink some protein shakes, and eat some high calorie foods that are healthier for you, Pasta and such. There are many great books out there to help you on this subject. Although, this may just be natural for you to be this small, are your family members small too? Your best bet would be to go to your family doctor and get his/her advice before starting any type of plan, if you want to gain weight they can help.

Wow, yeah you definitely need to start gaining some weight. Try eating more often and with bigger portions of food. Pizza is an easy food to gain weight from. Let your parents know what you are attempting to accomplish and allow them to help you out, they'll know what to do. You need to gain some serious weight soon though. Good luck

I'm 12 and 4'9, so are you just small-boned? 63 pounds seems dangerously small.

wow! im 11 and i weigh 75 pounds! talk 2 ur doctor bout this, maybe u just have a really high metabilism (means ur skinny and dont gain much when u eat) but ppl with low metabilism gain wieght after eating food. u prob have a high 1u cant control if its that
