We picked August, the end of August.
Daylight was not an issue for our evening wedding and outdoor pictures.
We were thinking about September, but it would have been getting darker during picture time.

In New England (I'm from CT) I think the best months to marry are May, June or October. End of May, all the flowers are in full bloom and the weather is getting nice and warm, but not too hot. Same as in June. In October, mid to end of the month, is when the fall foliage is peaking and makes for beautiful warm colors everywhere,

there is not one BEST month. What month is special to you and your partner? The old cliche is for a June wedding, but August, September & October are all popular too as is December, January, Valentines day (February) and Spring time (March/April).

Where are you planning on going for a honeymoon? that could dictate what the best month is for you.

Depends on where you live. I'm from the South where the summer is brutal, so I advise to stay in the cooler (but not cold) months. The flowers are beautiful in the Spring, and the Fall has all the warm beautiful colors of the leaves.

It depends on your favorite time of the year, do you want the wedding inside or outside, where the wedding is, etc.

I always wanted to be a "June Bride" so obviously I got married in June.

But think about what your dream wedding is, then pick a sensible time of year to conincide with that dream.
