well...u should try to luohu commercial city ( luohu shangye cheng ) shich greets you as u emerge from customs and immigration. here there are corridors after corridors of stalls selling ceramics, curios , knockoff handbags , clothing and dvd.

popular for tailored suits and skirts , electronic goods , custom made drapes and cheap ready to wear is the area around dongmen market ( dongmen shichang - hubei lu) which just off dongmen lu . be warned that this is pickpocket territory so keep ur valuables safe

yep, and some of them are very cheap, especially for Chinese traditional music instrument

but if it a some store usually u should bargain to get a good price.
