I think that Jesus Christ probably existed and yes, I think he was probably a really cool guy with a lot of good points and I would have been proud to call him a friend. If he died, taking all of our sins with him as he went, then thank you Jesus, I honestly appreciate that.

But no, I am not necessarily a religious person

Yes, I do. Many years ago, I attended a church with a work friend. I first heard the teachings concerning this at that time. I was filled with such an intense desire to accept this as true, I had to grip the pew in front of me to remain where I was, and not go down the aisle. Once I got home, I locked myself in the bathroom, and with the lights out, I asked God in prayer, that if what I heard was true, to let it be true for me. My life changed after that day. I have been in and out of Christian churches, I have studied Buddhism, Hinduism, Advaita, etc. Still, Jesus remains the stronghold of my life.

Yes, absolutely. I believe He died on a cross for me, and was raised again from the dead. He never died again, He defeated death. He is the only one to do that. If there was any other way to God, Jesus would never have done that. It was too horrible.
Just think of how much He loves us. I have three sons, and I could not give them for anyone else. But God did! And Jesus went willingly! I still sin, but now I can ask for forgiveness, and I am forgiven. Living for Christ is the most freedom anyone can have!

No I don't, I don't believe in God and I don't believe Jesus was superhuman. David Blaine can do seemingly impossible things too, do people worship him? I think 2000 years ago people were a lot easier to fool and I for one do not see Jesus as a Lord or Saviour.

Yes, because the scriptures say "neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given to man whereby you must be saved" He is the exclusive way , not by Allah not by mu hammed not be Buddha nor Confucius or anyone else, only Christ can save you. The words of Jesus were " I am the Way the Truth and the Life, no man cometh unto the Father except by me", once again very exclusive. The scriptures tell us "For it is by grace you are saved through faith and not that of yourselves" it is a free gift of God. It is only by His grace we can become saved, are part is to have the faith to believe. We must recognize we are sinners and believe in our hearts that Jesus Christ is a Saviour and can save us from our sins. We must repent of our sins and make Christ our Lord and devote our lives to serve and worship Him through His Holy Spirit. It is the blood of Christ that cleanses us from all our unrighteousness so that when we die we can go into God's presence who is pure and Holy. God does not see us in our sins but we have been "declared" righteous because of our faith in Christ whom He hath sent.

Yes. It would take too long to explain my conversion in this forum. Suffice it to say that once you take that leap of faith, Christ Jesus changes your heart. You become a new person that is now able to have a relationship with the Lord God Almighty and He does wondrous things on a daily basis proving not only His existence to you, but His unending love.

No. The basis of christianity is the bible. The bible is a completely flawed and inaccurate book. It has been proven to be not historical, it is the work of men and has been written, re-written, editted, altered, you name it many many many times. There is no basis to make the claim that jesus is any kind of lord or savior.

I don't believe because I have nothing credible from an intellectual viewpoint on which I could base such a belief.
