I met a woman, and we went out and had a great time. She asked ME to meet her and hang out the next weekend. So, I show up at the meeting place, and there's another guy there who is apparently has the same idea I do. I get the impression he thought he was on a date as well...? What the heck? She's an extremely attractive young (27 y o) woman. Did she do this for kicks or what?

don't jump into conclusions, maybe it's not what it seems it is. did you ever ask her why? maybe she met up with a friend before you two would. oh well, just make sure everything's clear before moving on. if you're sure that both of you were asked, that's really fishy! she's just playing.

You were under the impression tells me you didn't ask questions and you are assuming. Also he may be there for that but she may not. Talk to her and find out. If she says she is dating him also, you will have the correct answer and then you can decide if you want to be played or not. But then she may be dating a few people at the same time...this is not uncommon. You will have to find out for sure.......assuming can be dangerous so work off the facts.

The fact is that she's a player. Either you can play at her level or you can say no to "the fun and games" as she offers it. And if she's cocky or has attitude problems, she might have done it just for the kicks.

If you're looking for a relationship find yourself another woman.

She did it to selfishly cover all the bases: in case you didn't show and she could take the opportunity to cultivate another potential "taker". I'm sorry that happened to you.

She did it because she loves the attention of men.
She wanted to make certain one was there for her.
I hope you left. Sounds like that's what she's about.
