You know, it's not like we're adults or anything, we're only 16. But he is basically cheating on her anyway, so I thought maybe I should go for it, or atleast be friends. My friend really wants us to be otgether.

I say forget about it. I've been there before. I was head over heels about a guy that had a girlfriend. He didn't seem to be too serious about her at the time. We'd go places together. We wouldn't kiss or anything but we would hug and cuddle a lot. Eventually, he got more serious with her and stopped calling me. It sucked but I knew he had a girlfriend. I promised myself never to get in that mess again. The chances of winning over a guy like that are slim to none. You should move on.

I think it is really nasty of people to do such a thing. People depend on others to do the right thing if their partner will not. If everyone was considerate of this and realised what it was like to be cheated on or left for someone else relationships would be a lot easier. No I would move on.
