Well, mum let them buy you a present. After all they don't want to take, take, take all the time but they want to give. Let them experience that feeling of great satisfaction due to giving rather than taking. And of course you're worth every penny.

Do you buy them presents? If so then they will do the same for you because it's natural. I loved going present shopping for my mum because i loved her and wanted to get her something. This is how your kids feel about you. Just give little hints what you would like that aren't too expensive or maybe say that it would be a lot more nicer if they made you something. Have a nice birthday.

Your kids are young teens and want to show their love for you - that's wonderful. Why on earth do you think you're not worth it? You've obviously done a wonderful job in raising two lovely human beings - you are well worth the effort and money they will spend on you. If you are worried about the amount of money they would spend give them a limit, maybe £5 each?, and tell them to get you something with that or they could combine their money and get you one big present. Enjoy life with your great kids and cherish the fact they want to do such things for you.

ask them to bake you a cake & buy some soft drinks ( sodas) & go for a picnic in a park; they can buy the ingredients for the cake; or suggest some small things from a dollar store; photo frames;candles;
you have obviously raised great kids if they are eager to buy you a gift for your day- CHERISH that now; it may not happen forever;
1 of my most treasured gifts was a ring my children got me from a gumball machine;
give them some suggestions ; then tell them only say **no more than 2 gifts from each of them** - this is your gift to them in allowing them to show their appreciation of you.- explain to them that you dont really want them spending their money on you at this point - BUT you will cherish anything they decide to do for you

They obviously love you mum,so let them spend their own money the way they want to and really enjoy the fact they want to spoil you. I'm like you and have been all my life,but looking back I wish I had accepted the presents friends and family had wanted to buy me and I rejected.It not only spoilt their enjoyment but probably a lot of mine. funnily it's my birth day next Thursday I'm a Scorpio as well,we must stop being so practical when it comes to ourselves eh!
Silly,lap it up and enjoy it.You only live once,and see the look on their faces when you open their presents,that will make them really happy to.

you should let the children buy you presents if that is what they want and feel pleased that they care so much they want to do this.Many children would rather keep their money and it shows how much they care.my eldest daughter when she was a child spent her pocket m oney every week on my best friend and i asked her not to discourage her and she has grown into a generous thoughtful adult.

let them buy you something, its once a year, i know when my mum used to say that to me (with the best of intentions) it used to make me feel that a present from me would mean nothing, and that's why she didn't want one, if it gives them pleasure to buy you something let them, especially as you say they have their own money tell one of them that you maybe need a cosmetic bag (which doesn't cost a lot) and the other one to get you some chocs, or something, it will make them happy.
