I don't see this hate in any other section.
What does this tell us about religion ??

Why does that surprise you? The three major religions in the US, christianity, judaism and islam, all have intolerance for other belief systems built right into them. They don't even like each other for the most part, and they all worship the same god! (Now watch some of them try and say the others don't worship the god of Abraham like they do, or that they worship the 'wrong' way.)
Honestly, I think a lot of it is based on fear. When people get scared, they get mean. They haven't bothered to educate themselves about the other faiths (it may even be forbidden in their religion to do this), so they don't understand the other point of view/belief. This 'foreign' concept is somehow threatening to them or their beliefs, so they get a little scared. And then they lash out with hatred, rather than the love their religion teaches them. It's sad, really. Heartbreaking.
Oh, and there is one other place on Y!A where you can see this kind of petty name calling, hissing and spitting all combined with a blatant disregard for the truth. Go check out the politics section.

There is so much hate because people refuse to respect other people's religious views. It is their way, they have that mind set that their religion is the right religion. I myself am mystic. I do spells and some work. But of course I get ridiculed for what I am.

Some religions teach hate, you should know. They teach if you are not like them, you should be killed, etc. I thank God I know the true eternal God in heaven and His Son, Jesus the Christ.
