analgesic is a medicine that relieves pain.
it has a category depending on the type of pain you get, simple pain, chronic pain or acute pain.
even opium is one of the best known analgesics and now drugs like opium, known as opioids are used for analgesics.
Salicylic acid (aspirin), Paracetamol are some of the best known analgesics.
