The bridge was a fearful place in ancient Europe because it made you lose touch with the Earth. You were suspended between heaven and earth: a dangerous place to be. Consequently, evil creatures called trolls were thought to live under bridges. This was of Celtic origin and persisted until the present era.

its because its like burning a bridge of your friendship, you are letting go somewhere that connects something stable to another stable area. So by saying goodbye there, its like losing a connection

well i don't know about that but i never have liked saying goodbye anywhere always say see ya later
