A number of downloaded tv shows from Itunes, which I have viewed no longer reside on my video Ipod. I've re-downloaded from Itunes where they still are listed with no success in transferring.

Chances are that you have your ipod set to sync unwatched tv shows. This will remove any watched shows from your ipod, and put any unwatched shows onto your ipod. To change this, with your ipod conected to itunes, click on your ipod on the left side of the window, then click on the 'tv shows' tab and uncheck the 'sync' box. Or change the syncing to something that would work for you.

If you are using iTunes from a Windows Based P.C. then there's a chance you can have a Windows based Virus on your iPod!
Apple have acknowledge its existence!
Reset your iPod and Re-install a Clean version of iTunes(After Running anti-Virus Application!
Or maybe just get a Mac!?
*Don't for get to back your iTunes on a Portable hard Drive(Just incase of events just Like this one!!*
