I take it you mean EMBARRASSING, thankfully you can spell date ........... as it happens I remember the horror of talking my slightly tipsey date into stripping off and going skinny dipping with me, only to return to the shore to find some thieving barstewards had stolen all of our clothes. From knowing she was mine, stepping out of the sea, to hating me took no more than ten steps. We didn't even have a towel to hide our modesty, a mile and a half away from our hotel. I can laugh now but the journey back to the hotel .... hiding behind cars, hopping from one to the next, eventually getting to the reception desk wearing a deck chair ........... finally into the lift and back to my room. Yeah embarrassing it was.

This wasn't on a date exactly, but close enough.
Shortly after graduating from High School, I met a girl on a greyhound bus. I sat next to her, and we got to talking. When we arrived in Chicago, we stopped for a bite to eat, and I got her phone number before we went our separate ways.
A few days later, we did the dinner and a movie thing.
A few days after that, I decided to make an obscene phone call, as a joke. I called, and when she answered, I started breathing real heavy, and loudly rolling a piece of hard candy around in my mouth. She sounded alarmed, and repeatedly ask me, "who is this?" Then she hung up.
I immediately called back, and sounding perturbed, I asked, "Why did you hang up on me?"
She asked, "who is this?"
I said, "This is Allen."
She replied, "How was I supposed to know?" She still seemed a little puzzled.
Then I asked, "This is Jill, isn't it?"
No, I got her sister by mistake.

My 22nd b-day my ex and I went to see The Exorsism of Emily Rose. Going to the same movie theatre since it opened. Little did I know that the arm rest actaully lifted up. When I figured out it did I used a little profanity just because I felt like a jack-***. She laughed so hard I couldn't help but laugh my *** off also.

well one time i went on a date , a few years back and after sitting to enjoy a mice meal and a glass of wine. after we were finished I went to pay the bill and had left my credit cards and wallet in my other pants pocket. for me this was the most. however i left and went to the house and picked up my wallet and returned to the resturant and paid for dinner, my date had to stay there until I got back. she was very understand and said not to worry but i know that she was very embassed herself and i felt really bad about it.
never happened again

She was going to Iraq as a soldier. It was literally her last night at home before she shipped out. I was just trying to be patriotic so I did what I never do on the first date. And we did it more than once.

I'm clumsy and it's not unusual for me to trip and fall in public whenever I'm with my boyfriend on a date. We've become used to it now.

Stepped on her foot, nearly tripping her at a casino on our first date. We just had our ninth anniversary so I dint think it was all that bad.
