Good on you for taking the initiative. It may be a long hard road to find your sister but if you are willing to put in the work, you should be able to satisfy your curiosity.

It may help to start with talking to your parents and siblings to find out as much information from them as you can.

The hospital you were born at should also have some information that you may or may not be able to access due to privacy laws.

There are probably agencies that can help you search for lost relatives. I know there is are websites that specialises in finding lost relatives:

It depends on your age cause once you are 18 you don't need their consent but if you were adopted the all you have to do is go to the place that you were adopted from and ask them or you can go to the hospital that you to were born in and you can use that information off the birth certification and look her up on a web search or just ask your parents they should know

Go to the hospital that you were born at. they should have the record and know there last name. It is was later that she was adopted then talk to a adoption agency and ask them how that works. Tell them the birth date and as much info you can. They should point you in the right direction it they can't help you.

Ask that your letters be sent to her. Let them read them..........write from your heart. Maybe they will be sent or thrown away...it does not matter. What matters is your intention and the time you spend with your sister in your heart when you are writing. Go there with your letters an all those will learn about love from you. You are the teacher. Your sister will arrive in your life when it is time.
