although info on schools in south east london would be helpful if somebody could tell me of schools in lambeth, bromley, croydon or crystal palace in particular that would be extremely helpful.

Sambo, which is a defensive form of martial arts, originated in Russia, is not popular in London. I haven't come across any sambo clubs here in the capital. However, it shares many similar features with judo so looking for a judo club might be an idea for you.

It is mostly referred to as Sombo now dude. Sambo is the not the correct way now in this country and Anerica for politically incorrect reasons.

Also, they say SOMBO is the proper saying of it. I wont go into detail.

I do SOMBO (kind of), and here is a link to the British SOMBO stuff. There is an email address there, which may be a good place to start!! I am sure they can help you for London areas (if any?)

i tip though, when searching then net for a club try spelling sambo with an o' (sombo), thats what its called in america so maybe english clubs spell it that way

I can't tell you a club but you can look in newspapers,magazines,on the internet or you could simply ask friends if they know anything.
