The coffee maker at work hasn't been cleaned in months - just rinsed out - would you drink coffee from it in the morning. Does mold grow side?

Not by choice. Coffee machines need to be cleaned out regularly. I used to work in a fast food place and I was the only person to pull apart and clean the coffee machine on a regular basis. I haven't worked there for years, and I dread to think what state it's in. There's a real good chance mould will grow in there if it goes unchecked.

Maybe no-one knows how to clean it properly? Check with a manager or supervisor or owner.

If the coffee is starting to taste bitter or bad in some way, just run vinegar through it and then run 2 cycles of plain water after.

It'll be like new.

Or buy a new one. They're cheap!

Yes, I used to have the same problem at work and after talking about it with others we start taking turns cleaning it, The only mold I notice was on the grains itself

No I would not. I always use a cup or mug. If you're so concerned, take it upon yourself to clean it. Just run some water and vinegar through a cycle occassionally.

No, i would rather buy my own coffee. But I suppose you can wash the coffee maker.

So, why don't you just wash it? Don't you guys rotate kitchen duty? If not, you should.
