In the same way the Catholic Chruch has been operating its fund raising soul crushing Enterprise's for centuries - killing and conquering in Jesus's name, bless their cotton socks.
Can I not do the same, and then I too would have loads of money, wealth, and power, but, to make my reign of terror different, NO ALTER BOYS...

Jesus said in John 10:10 ' The thief (ie the devil) does not come except to kill, and to steal, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they have it more abundantly.' Those who use Jesus' name in true obedience of His desire in this verse of scripture will improve the lives of people, including healing the sick, setting oppressed people free, raising the dead, etc. Those who use His Name to harm and destroy others are doing so to fulfil their own misconceived and fleshy desires or are deceived or motivated by the devil to do so. Christians who are led by the Holy Spirit and are true sons of God will obey Jesus to give life. Christians walking in their own flesh tend to disobey Jesus and destroy lives. That is why God sacrificed His own Son to save the world to give everyone eternal life to show that He loves the world. Those who know Jesus will not suffer God's judgement on their lives because Jesus has already suffered their judgements on the cross. This is described as living under God's grace. For unbelievers however God will still judge them and make them pay the penalty of death for their sins because they are under the law and not grace.

The Catholics haven't done that in at least 100 years. Can you cite an instance where they have gone in with Solider or an Army and taken over a country or people in the name of the Pope!
Cite one, please.
Martin Luther helped put an end to that, and Yes, the Catholics put a price on his head.
But after the Fall the Byzantine when they lost nearly HALF of what they had, they learned to be more PC.
Had the Catholics let Henry Divorce and Stopped buying sin with money, we'd all be Catholics today and Calvin would have been nailed to a cross, with the blessings of Martin Luther.
The Catholics made a lot of mistakes and they've seemed to learn from them. Other belief systems still have not learned these lessons...

Oh yes!
I mean think about this god chap. A little example;
Herod kills all the sprogs in Israel of approximately the same age as the infant Jesus (Which you'd think would at least get a mention in some secular history, wouldn't you?) = Nasty Evil Man
God Kills all the Egyptian Firstborn children, because he is pissed with their Pharaoh = Good, kind, loving god.
God loves us all so much, that, in order to forgive us for the fact that a couple of people ate some fruit thousands of years ago, he is prepared to let his some be tortured to death.
Got to love a guy like that! (I mean, you have GOT to love a guy like that, or he will burn you forever in the lake of fire!)

of course you can, but you have to "sell" something like Christianity, say a new religion, have at least 12 disciples to start with, and do something very memorable before you die, say conquer half the world, or die on the cross, or have a 40 days meeting with god on some mountain.
than, in a few years, no more than 400, you'll have created a competitive "faith" and start enjoying the benefits.
