About 1yr ago I had a program that was free on the internet. If you bring it up and run it it would remove all traces of trial periods. Like if you had any 15day trial program that was on its last day of use you could run this little program and when you restarted the 15 day program it would say 15days remaining. It worked great till my old hdd went out and I re-installed everything and now I can't find anything like it. Any suggestions would help...Thanks

Is sounds like one of these installation analyzers that look at your system before and after you've triggered the trial period. It will remove entries in the registry and any files that may have been created.

I use a simple trick of changing the system time with a batch file.

@SET NOW=%DATE%
@DATE /T

@DATE 02/12/2007
@DATE /T

START YourProgram.exe

@PAUSE
@DATE %NOW%
@DATE /T

Sounds like a handy program. I wouldn't be surprised if it's long gone, though. I can just see the lawsuits from companies, claiming millions of dollars in theft.

Be careful if the software you are resetting sends data back to their servers you can get in trouble.

My advice is if you get the resetting program. Use it while you are off the internet.
