just drinking coffee and then wondered how the idea of putting milk in coffee came about........

I think the idea was more putting coffee into milk, because for ages that people have drunk milk and mixed it with other things such as honey and alcohol... having both also means that you can enjoy the coffee taste longer in a bigger cup without getting over the hedge! Now I ask you what's with mixing milk with tea??? agh

Hmm? Good question. What else could we put in our coffee? The store down the street from me sells chocolate covered strawberry coffee. It's the best!

Maybe some farmers wife back in the early days of America was too busy and accidentally refilled her husbands coffee up with milk. Viola!

Coffee with milk was originally served in France by brewing strong coffee, usually French Roast, and serving it with a pitcher of steamed milk. The coffee and steamed milk were then poured together in more or less equal amounts in a large bowl shaped cup.

I PUT MILK IN MY COFFEE TO REALLY COOL IT OFF AND GIVE IT A BETTER TASTE . I CAN DRINK IT BLACK BUT IT TASTE DIFFERENT SO PUTTING MILK IN IT COOLS IT AND GIVES IT A BETTER TASTE . I CANT DO WITH OUT MY COFFEE I HAVE TO DRINK IT FIRST THING IN THE MORNING THEN I GO TO PEPSI , THAT IS MY BEVERAGE, FOR THE DAY . I GUESS.

im not sure how people decidedto put milk in coffee, but a better question was how did we find out that cows have milk in the first place?

Once that worked, he decided to heat the oil up and make french-fries in it, ... Last time I was there, the only milk option for coffee was high-fructose ...

cos they made it entirly from milk.. only us poor people couldnt afford that going back years..so we diluted it with water the question should of been who in there right mind thought of taking a foul tasting bean of a plant.. roasting it.. crushing it into hot liquid and drinking it....oh to have nothing better to do.. although gratefull they did as cant function without mine in the morning

cuz they are both beverages probably. hot coffee cooled down with milk.
