Rubbish!!! I loved it so much, I have been twice for holidays there and travelled the whole country. The first time for a week and the second for seven.
It is a country of wonderful diversity with the most wonderful colourful markets (Otovalo), to great volcanoes such as Cotopaxi and Tungaroa then, out to the jungles and places like Cocoa. I spent time on the coast in places like Atacamas and fished and drank cocktails it was wonderful.
The people are wonderful and still when I am asked me to this day my favourite country in S.America, Equador is always up among the top three.
I would go back tomorrow.

Because not too many people know what kind of things this country has to offer to the tourists. There are people who don't even seem to know this is a country, or where it is located. (I went to the States and one guy asked to me:"Where's Ecuador, is that in Mexico?") >:-(

I'm Ecuadorian and I'm telling you, squeekie is right, our country has a lot to offer and you can find very cold mountains, and very nice hot beaches. Although I must warn you that this is a rather poor country, so don't come here expecting something like Cancún or The Bahamas. You'll find nice beaches but not too much "hotel infrastructure". However, that makes this country even more cheap than The Bahamas or Cancún. Galápagos is a National natural reserve, so no ultra-fancy hotels there... only some nice, quiet ones. Baños is in the mountains so there are no beaches there, but my God, there are a lot of foreigners living there because they fell in love with the place and decided to stay. Montañita is a fishermen's town by the sea but very well known for the surfing ad again, many foreigners living there in kind of a hippy way, but it's all very nice. And, unless you WANT to spend more in a 5 stars restaurant, food is great and VERY cheap everywhere.

Hmm, i assume we get to work out first hand despite if Holliday develop right into a manufactured from Coors or no longer. With giving up their #a million prospect and a couple of others i ponder whether they're making plans on attempting to maintain Matt for next season or if he's in ordinary terms a condo for now. Cardinals are stable although, and if Holliday proves to be extra beneficial than a manufactured from Coors they're in a great place. possibly this could push my Brewers to get shifting on getting a tumbler (Halliday!!!!)

I went to Ecuador for 3 months and loved it, there are loads of places to see and it isn't all hot.

I spent a month in the Galapagos which was amazing, Banos is popular tourist spot with loads of great surfing beaches!

If you come from the UK the dollar is weak so its great! (though not quite as cheap as Peru or Bolivia)

Go you would love it

It might because most hotels are overcrowded. The weather is extremely hot, besides the humidity kills you.
Since Ecuador has the US Dollar as its currency, it seems funny that you spend your hard-earned dollars in a local hotel when you can travel someplace else where your money is more valuable.
