Not totally sure but FRP does have a tendency to delaminate and is generally so rough it would be hard to sanitize and clean them. I've seen some tanks storing sorgum and glucose I think they were carbon and stainless steel. The sorgum was used for cattle feed.

If it was my plant I'd want a Stainless Steel Tank with steam heating coils. That stuff is murder to pump if it gets too cool. Stainless for sanitation.
