You want to use a hair gel "like brylcream"? Do they even make brylcream anymore?
My dad used to use it (back in the 60's) and it wasn't a hair gel, it was a cream that came in a tube.
That stuff was simply used to tame the hair and it didn't cause hair to fall out.
I remember that I loved the smell. "Brylcream, a little dab 'l do ya."

Oh my gosh! They DO still make it. I just Googled it! And they do make a wet look gel! How 'bout that! I still don't think it'l make your hair fall out.

Brylcream is an oldschool hair gel. It's the best but it does make your hair look wet all the time. The upside it that it doesn't make your hair turn into this rockhard helmet like the styling gels of today.

If you are male, your hair falls out from a byproduct of testosterone that builds up and chokes the blood supply to the hair follicles. This normally occurs in adult men when they reach a certain age. If you are going bald and you are male.. don't worry about going bald. Baldness is the mark of maniless. Only sissies worry about thier hair but if you think it's starting to look bad... shave it all off.

If you are a woman who uses brylcream and notice your hair falling out..it could be a fungus that thrives in damp warm areas. Perhaps you should wash your hair everyday and then blowdry it.
