Sounds like you are fighting off a serious virus and the lump possibly could be just an enlarged lymph node......HOWEVER... you know the rest...lumps, bumps, growths are nothing to take lightly so please go see a physician! If nothing else so that you can obtain a prescription for antibiotics to ward off whatever you are trying to catch....Do you still have your tonsils? Have your throat checked! Arm chair diagnosis(es) should not be adhered to when it comes to your health....Hope you feel better!!

Seek medical attention. It could be many things from esophageal stricture caused by gastric reflux to thyroid trouble, to swollen lymph glands. The best thing for you to do is see a doctor.

Your thyroid gland is right there and when it's enlarged it can make that happen. Best thing for you to do is find an ENT(ear, nose and throat) doc in your area.

Get to a specialist doctor as soon as you can..my friend had a problem like you and her regular doctor said it's nothing to be concerned about...it got worse and it was too late...she died of throat cancer..

you need to see your doctor and have it checked out. it could be enlarged tonsils or adenoids. maybe swollen lymph nodes but if it is affecting your ability to swallow or breath, you need to get it checked right away. if it is an allergy, it could lead to anaphalactic shock
