ya the very important thing is to obey them..... even if they make u go mad..... be calm and listem their shout without answering'em back.... cuz they are the parents and knw bttr.... make'em understand ur feelin's ....spend time wth'em.....and help'em in their works.... talk abt ur friends (they like when u share ur talks wth them)

Kid, I'm an older dude and I finally figured this out in my 30's. I now get along so well with my parents and just love them. We're great friends now.

I finally learned that especially my father needs his own space. Don't mess with his stuff, don't ask him for things all the time, learn to be more self-reliant, figure things out on your own. Don't be so clingy.

Pretty much the same w/mother. Listen her out and politely disagree if you must. Listen to them. Learn how to state your beliefs without arguing. Learn to respect everyone, not just your parents. Learn patience.

Talk to them. Tell them what's on your mind without attacking them or being critical. OK, this takes a lot of maturity and you may not be there yet. I took forever to grow up, I was a slow learner so who am I to preach.

Boy am I wasting my time telling you this. You'll just need to spend years learning this the hard way like I did.

Kid - one more idea. Print out your question and all the answers, and show it to your parents. It'll show them that you love them, because you want to improve things with them. I bet it'll make them happy.

If you really love them and appreciate their sacrifices for you, it really shouldn't be too difficult.

Your loving obedience to them shouts louder than anything you can say or do to them that you love them.

If they are loving parents, they want only what is best for you, even though you may not understand at the time. Remember, they know what you are going through. They've been there, and they hope to save you some of the heartaches they have suffered.

What you have to remember is that your parents love you and have your best intentions at heart. As children we don't always agree or see eye to eye with our parents, which is normal. However, looking back on past situations in my life, I have come to realize that my parents were right in most cases. Mymom tells me that all parents ask for is respect. they dont even hate arguments as longas they are Very politely stated and logical.

acctually the only answer is to obey them.. but if you want to do something and they don't let just tell them that you'll help them by helping you...... sometimes you have to tell them what you like what you don't.... rebel a bit but not until they want to kick you out...
