If you believe in God then you believe we were created by God and are an image of God's mind, therefore find the part of God that is in you and you will find the answers you need. Peace to you.

My dear friend, God is just an idea put forth by our incapacity to understand how this universe came to be, and so we have imagined that there must be a Super Being-God-who made it all, but then again, who made Him? God is just an idea. Nobody has ever seen Him, not even the pope or Moses who, according to the Old Testament, went up the mountain alone, and then butchered all those who dared question his mission as the emissary of Jehovah.

The Holy Spirit is called the Comforter, and the Spirit answers us in many ways. A word we see on a sign. Something we hear someone say in a conversation.
Have you ever worried about something. And a realization,
a thought came into your mind, that helped you better understand
the situation?
That was the Holy Spirit comforting you.

The Bible teaches us that prayer is the privilege of those who have become righteous children of God (John 1:12). The Psalm writer tells us: "The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their cry; the face of the Lord is against those who do evil, ... " (Psalm 34:15). This is also implied in the Gospel of John, chapter 9. Jesus healed a man who had been blind since his birth. The religious leaders of that day challenged the man's healing and sought to discredit Jesus by implying that he acting outside of God's will. To this accusation, the healed man replied, " We know that God does not listen to sinners. He listens to the godly man who does his will ... If this man were not of God, he could do nothing." (John 9:28-33).
In the New Testament, there are a few examples of prayers spoken by unbelievers, such as the thief on the cross who prayed, "Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom" (Luke 23:42). There is the prayer of the tax collector, who prayed simply, "God, have mercy on me, a sinner" (Luke 18:13b). There are also the undescribed prayers of Cornelius, the Roman centurion, who had come to believe in the God of Israel. God heard the prayers and sent the apostle Peter to Cornelius with the good news about Jesus in order that he might be saved (Acts, chapter 10).
From these instances it appears that the prayers of those who were not followers of God took the form of calls upon God for mercy and acceptance. One could pray such a prayer with the confidence that God will answer and receive him or her by His grace into the assurance of salvation and eternal life. Jesus once said, "Whoever comes to me I will never drive away" (John 6:37b). However, one who has never trusted in Jesus as his personal Savior should be reminded that if his only point in prayer is to relieve his mind of problems and secure benefits, it is extremely doubtful that such praying would gain the desired objective.
If you have received Christ as your Savior, you have the privilege to talk freely with God because He is your Heavenly Father, and you are His child. If you have never received Christ, we urge you to make your commitment to God by turning from sin, trusting Christ to forgive you, and inviting Jesus to come into your life as your Savior and Lord. When you do this, you become a member of God's own family.

you know, a funny thing happened to me the other day...
i was talking to my girlfriend on the phone. she had a bad dream about my dead cousin, who she never met, but he introduced himself to her in this dream. anyway, this led to us talking about her brother, who died serving the military (in the philipines), but not in the line of duty. he was murdered and his case is still unsolved.
so she told me that sometimes she asks him, while staring at his picture, to come to her in a dream and tell her who the killer(s) was. i told her not to do that, that it is detestable to God. i told her that i didn't know where exactly in the old testament it talks about that kinda thing, but i was pretty sure it was in the pentateuch (the first five books). but i got out my Bible and i opened it up, and after i flipped through the pages once or twice, i found it. it's in deuteronomy 18:9-13.
this may not sound real impressive to you, but think of how many chapters and verses are in the old testament... i flipped through the pages once or twice and found those passages with no trouble at all. what are the odds? i didn't even know to look in deuteronomy, all i knew was to look in the old testament, probably, but not definitely, in the pentateuch. but i found those passages right off to bat.
so it may not sound like much, but to me, that's a small way in which God answers "our cry". it's just more proof that He's listening to us, and He wants us to listen to Him.
and if that isn't enough, pray fervently for faith. concentrate, zone everything else out completely, and reflect on every single word you say. it will come, guaranteed. maybe not the first time. maybe not the second, or third, or tenth time, but it WILL come.

Yup I beleive in HIM too. To my opinion, HE answer our cry(ies) by giving us home, food, and clothes. If we are to beleive, whatever he come across in our daily life routine, being a work place of with friends, in a nut shell..anywhere we still have food to eat, still have home to live, still have clothes to cover our figure. Imagine if we are without all this, than we can say that we dont beleive HIM. Lets look at the poor, low income citizens. To me I always disagree when ppl say things like why GOD made me like this and y GOD put me in this condiditon or situation of life, I dont think GOD loves me all sort of things. As to me its all HIS exams and listen to our cry.
Lets look into this, this way, we have childrens, they do wrong we scold and bit them up, they cry cause of the pain and than we will hug them..to them we are GOD..we listen to their cry and give them a lesson thus they dont really repeat the same mistake again..same goes to all of us...we do wrong we are forgiven by HIM but with punishments. So whatever we are its all HIS listen to our cry...so if we are in the middle level of life or poor level of life or high class level of life, its all HIS blessing towards our cry.
