I've learned to be quiet and look around me. I'm not sure what I believe in, or who runs the show, but this is a strange and extraordinary universe and only the stubbornly blind are unable to see, and appreciate, the complex beauty of it all.

Firstly, atheist so not being held responsible to anyone at the end.
Just little things really, whenever I want to say no to something, when asked something I try to think aobut it quite hard, and if I'm missing out on a new experience or just a little nervous sometimes I'll just say yes and try something even if I've no idea why or whether I'll like it. I try to think to myself at least once a day that I enjoy my life and I'm doing something with it.
I never want to stop learning new things, Ever since I left school i've been taking courses outside what's offered to me, discovering how things work or how to do things. I also compete, in my martial arts for example I enter competitions because it's an amazing experience and I feel like I can achieve something. All these thigns I hope I can continue to do for a long time, and if I can then I can see myself havcing much fewer regrets about life.

I appreciate my son. The sky on a cool crisp morning and the birds are singing outside my window. Or a thunderstorm at night when I can lay in bed and see the lightening and hear the rain and thunder. The love I once had with a man who loved me. The freedom not to accept any backwards religious dogma and still know that god will love all of us no matter what.

I'd say lord you have blessed me by allowing to be born into a good family who's love and comfort has guided me through life that alone is a great gift.
Throughout my years I've had the honor to meet and be loved by wonderful friends and the greatest blessing of all is the son you've given me.
I appreciate life for it's beauty, the ethnic diversity that surrounds us which allows us to enhance our knowledge.
The air we breath, the scents that we inhale and the beauty our eyes witness. I appreciate each day that I live and knowing that love surrounds me and that I can share that love with others.
Thank you for enriching my life.

Oh, my God, this is how I appreciate life. This is one small example! I'm able to read your query. I'm able to comprehend it. I'm able to answer it. And answer it RIGHT NOW! Most all of us who're reading this have many reasons, however simple, to appreciate life. Are you going to WALK to the bathroom the next time you have to pee? Or will you motor to the toilet and struggle to keep yourself clean??? There but for the grace of God go us...

I live my life for my Lord & Savior Jesus Christ who loved me so much that He died on a cross for me, and he rose from the dead 3 days later. I show my appreciation by walking with Christ every day. This brings me much joy. God loves you! If you have never done so, give your life to Christ today. "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved" (Acts 16:31). Jesus says, "I came that they might have life and have it to the fullest" (John 10:10. You can have this life today!

i appreciated it by making life better for humanity on Earth, because GOD ISNT LIFTING A F"N FINGER.
Im an atheist, and when I die if I find out there is a God, I would turn the question around on him by asking, "So why do you let so many people kill each other in your name?"
