shopping in singapore.... sleeveless tops, short-sleeve tees, short pants, sandals tat u can wear the whole year, well, dont tell me u r looking for winter clothes in singapore.:-P
HK definitely has more variety in terms of clothing, accessories.
cheaper too. some shopping streets(Fa Yuen Street , Woman's Street in Mongkok) can even bargain !! and it doesn't seem happen often in singapore.
if u have to look for computer products, the price is quite comparable. there r few computer malls in HK. becos of the competition, they have to give out lots of free gifts to attract more customers, so, i would choose HK.
quality is a guaranteed. u dont have to worry if its original.
but go for big shops, branded names tat u see more branches e.g.for electronics stuffs, look for 'broadway'.(i had bought a ipod and mobile in june, they were doing a promotion, its cheaper than tat in singapore)

I've been to Hong Kong a couple months back. Shopping is alright, not too expensive if you know where to look - Gorgeous malls are usually expensive. You can try little stalls, shops by the streets and night markets. MTR stops - Tsim Tsha Tsui, Sham Shui Po, Jordan, Mongkok are places with a lot of shopping on the streets and little shops. One thing to note - Quality isn't guranteed, as a lot of their products came from China and usually without the quality control checks. Exercise your own discretion and check the product carefully before buying. I won't say it's much cheaper than Singapore really, it's on par. roughly around 100 - 150 HKD for a brandless top, 200 HKD for jackets, 100 - 200 HKD for bags.. All prices quoted are for products without any brands/brands you haven't heard of.

It is pretty comparable. Most things you will find cheaper, but not significantly (cell phones etc.). I would make the suggestion to get your visa and make the trip into Shenzhen and go to LoHu (about 45 min from HK)!!! well worth it for the shopping.

But watch your wallet as you shop. Avoid walking on the road and stick to the pavements. Never go to the shop owner's warehouse to check out more "cheaper bargains". Never touch the goods unless you are ready to buy.
Happy Shopping!
