I don't think that we should.
So far as I am concerned (and I can only answer for me) firstly, their question reminds me that there are individuals out there who think like that. Secondly, it tells me that a place exists where people can freely express what they are thinking, even if I don't agree with it, and therefore the world that I see everyday is flawed (in so very many ways) but in this context, in that no one really says what they are thinking of feeling for fear of being arrested/sacked/attacked/ostracised.
Thirdly it demonstrates to me that the responses are heartfelt because those individuals who do answer took the time to construct a response, whether they agree with the asker or not. It also gives me hope that displaying traits that can be construed as showing narrow-mindedness/arrogance/bigotry/racism/intolerance of religious beliefs or just plain beliefs, can and will be effectively challenged.
In short, it gives me hope that I am not the only person out there actively seeking and wanting answers, evolving and adapting my opinions because someone on here has made me see things from a different point of view, given more depth to my analysis of any particular issue.
In my humble opinion, language is so very powerful and a little thought and time as to how a question is asked may stop negative reports and engender fruitful discussion. Until that is learned by some askers, offence will be caused. Hopefully they came here to learn too and they will learn. It is not the question most of the time, just they way that it is phrased.

There's a small problem - it's called freedom of speech.
If somebody dislikes somebody else (or some race else), that's their perogative. You can't change human nature.
Racism without reason is pointless I agree but there are many points which ARE true but politically incorrect. Let's forget the PC aspects and face the truth - or at least try to clarify the truth (or falsity) of so-called racist claims.
The issue comes down to the PC brigade saying that you MUST agree with us whether true or false - just like mohommedans at times. If you don't, we'll shout you down. No right to even state your case.

I suppose there is an argument for starving them of the oxygen of publicity, but on the other hand, I don't see why they should get away with posting inflammatory crap with no comeback.
I think some genuinely expect people to agree with them. If once in a while some kick-*** reply makes them stop and think, then maybe some good has been done.

I wish there were a way to block them but I'd hate to block legitimate questions like "Do black people have drier skin than whites?" or "Why do so few Native Americans speak their own languages fluently?" I hope that Yahoo is developing some more advanced filters for Answers. In the meantime, I think ignoring is the best policy.

properly, it relies upon what you call racist. There are some human beings obtainable who choose some genuine verbal exchange on some considered necessary questions, and each so often that is totally perplexing to physique of techniques those subject concerns devoid of coming in the process as racist. I evaluate myself a liberal, yet regrettably liberals are a similar human beings I see drowning out genuine discussions with accusations of racism.

Oh yes let's !! Lets all live togthere in peace and harmony, one big happy community. We can stop hating people, give up our weapons and everything will be wonderful.
Then one day some soldiers will come along march us outside our houses, make us kneel and shoot us in the back of our heads.
This is the reality of your Utopian world, i'm afraid. The meek do NOT inherit the earth, and if you are white, you should feel ashamed of yourself.

Its a case of lack of education most of these people have got a very low level of education so what can we expect of morons ? Don't judge them too hard in years gone by they would have been the court jester or fool. Now though they are just moronic fools.
And as kicking them have you heard the saying no sense no feelings? They would not feel a thing!!!

You can choose not to read or answer any questions you consider racist, or you can report the poster if you so which, but you cannot censor freedom of speech because it upsets your sensibilities.
Just re-read your question; doesn't the fact that you wish to inflict violence on those who disagree with you make you somewhat bigoted.

If you are from the USA, remember freedom of speech. Everyone is entitled to their opinions regardless whether you agree or disagree. I hate racist comments but we gotta live with these people in our society whether we like it or not.

it depends on the context of the question and whether the asker originally intended to cause offence. if people, such as you and i interpret it and see it as being offensive then definitely, yes. besides, all forms of discrimination should be boycotted too, so its not just racist questions but those that ridicule and offend the gay and lesbian community as well as other minority groups that ought to be condemned.
