I've heard many Christians say that in the bible it says that Jesus Christ is God. But where in the bible is this found?

John 1:1 and John 1:14 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Verse 14: And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full or grace and truth.
1 Timothy 3:16: And without contrversy, great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world and recieved up into glory.

It doesn't. The idea that Jesus is God did not come into existence until more than 3 hundred years after the Bible was completed. Since then, people have tried to make the Bible appear that Jesus is God. But in actuality, it states plainly that Jesus is God's Son. See John 20:31.

It is in the Gospel of John chapter 1 verses 1- 18. It explains that Jesus Christ is the Words of Almighty God made into flesh and that Jesus (the Words of God) came and lived among men.
This blows my mind, just consider the power of Almighty God. He is so powerful that His Words (Let there be Light) took on the form of Jesus Christ and every time He spoke something into existence Jesus Christ became more of God. WOW

There is 3-4 references to what you are looking for. Now Jesus did tell us that When you have seen me you have seen the father because the father and I are one. You can get your bible with a concordance and look this passage up for yourself and perhaps find many scriptures in relations to this.

Jonh 1: 1
"In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning."

"The Word became flesh, and dwelt among us"

John testifies concerning him. He cries out, saying, "This was he of whom I said, 'He who comes after me has surpassed me because he was before me.' "

Jesus is God.

I believe jesus is god's son. He said if you confess me
in front of others ,i will confess you in front of my father.
Also he said , no one comes to the father but by me.
He speaks of my father in heaven. By these words I feel
that there are two. father and son. God says he is my son,
in which i/m well pleased. But I belive in three, father, son ,
holy ghost. Because jesus died for us on the cross, believing
in him and what he done covered by his blood gives us the
chance for erternal life.
