Saline solution. If you do not have any saline, then you can store them temporarily in distilled water. Make sure that you do not store them in regular tap water as there are so may different minerals in tap water .. that can cause yellowing or discoloration of the lenses. You can add a pinch of table salt, but only use non-iodized salt. ..... The iodine also causes yellowing of your lenses that cannot be removed! (use salt very sparingly or they will sting when you re-insert them) Good Luck......By the way...Did you have a good time at Homecoming? Hope So!!

I had the comparable difficulty. the answer that i've got found works terrific is talked approximately as Aquify. If i'm no longer improper, particular ideas react with the textile used to make diverse touch lenses... it somewhat is why maximum manufacturers advise a answer to apply. despite if it somewhat is stable or incorrect, your terrific selection could be a answer that announces on te bottle that it somewhat is ud with Acuvue lenses. back, I easily have acuvue, and that i admire Aquify; and this is decrease priced, too.

I had a similar problem a few years ago and put them in distilled water, but they swelled up and couldn't be worn afterwards. I think that's why you need saline (because this has about 1% salt in it). At a push I'd used distilled water with a pinch of salt. I changed to once-daily lenses shortly afterwards and they have proved great for me.

well in an emergency you could use saliva, i have before but drink water first to make sure your saliva is the cleanest it can be. Thats only if they fall of and to put them back in. But usually I just dont take them off if I have nowhere to soak them, if you sleep with them nothing really happens, when you wake up your eyes may be a bit dry but after washing your face and all that it will be cool

You should'nt really do this but you should just use normal water from the tap, and after that be sure to try to never do it again and be sure to clean your contacts off reall good after that.
