i didnt believe the hype. but i got a pair recently also from ebay and they are great - only thing is - they are so so so hot that they damage your hair and you have to use them all the time.

so you end up with alot of split and damaged hair, but the straighteners make it look better.

thing to remember is always use the thermal protection spray.

i have the wide ones but id recommend the standard ones.

P.S. - top tip - use them to curl your hair, wrap the hair around the iron and it makes a loely effect!!!

go for it

Personally i think GHD are the best and wouldnt use any other brand. They are pricey, but when i got mines (on net) i looked around, i ended up purchasing a set with a safety mat and hair protecter for 100£

I thinik you can get them new on ebay and things like that.

I just find GHD make ure hair straight really fast so u dont have to constantly straighten the same bits

GHD are ok but best for short hair or if you have the time to section your hair into tiny sections, I have kodo straighteners that I bought from my hair dresser but you can buy them on the net, they are cheaper than ghd and I think that they get hotter, my friends who have ghd have tried mine and more impressed with mine than ghd. Oh and I've had mine for 3 years now, use them everyday as I have naturally curly hair and they still work like new

GHD straightners lock in moisture so it doesn't leave your hair dry or damaged. Costs £100, the travel pack whick includes styling products, clips, travel bag & straightner cost £135.

I actual have a CHI, and that i like it. I actual have never heard of a GHD. The Salon i pass to makes use of HAI and CHI, they do a appropriate job with the two. I have no formal coaching in cosmetology and the CHI works ok at living house. There are some you will possibly desire to inspect. i do no longer understand how accesible the array of them are to you, yet you ought to purchase extremely some them on line. there's a clean kind called Corioliss* (sp). it incredibly is offered in kiosks in "extreme end" shops, besides the indisputable fact that it incredibly is meant to be extra ideal than the CHI, considering it incredibly is Ceramic throughtout, rather of plated like the CHI. i do no longer advise ourchasing from Sally's except you're on a good cost variety. I pray you come across one you adore. it incredibly is a great investment.

There was a big thing on watch dog a while back, saying that a few ladies in the u.k. had them on and they were burning hot, another lady said that their was sparks coming out the back of them. Well......... i can honestly say that mine are absolutely fantastic and i havent had one bit bother with mine, yes they are pricey, but well worth the money you pay for them. On watch dog, they were only shown you the bad points about having a pair, but the end result is amazing. so you go girl and get a pair. I have the black pair and i am getting the pink pair from Santa. hahahahahaha.xx

ghd's are great, but in a poll in hair magazine last week they came out second, with Morphy Richards, thermoceramics coming first..and they are cheaper than ghd's!! I would recommend ghd's though as they have been tried and tested over time.

you dont have to spend alot to have a good straightner just make sure they are 100% ceramic that is the best. if you are going to spend a good amount of money on one get a chi they are the best and cost around 150 but will last forever.

You can buy cheaper ones called GHD style straighteners, they are just as good and go up to the same heat. They are worth getting and work brilliantly.
