I've had these for years (I'm 59) in my right eye and then I got a bunch in my left eye too. There's nothing you can do about them except hope they eventually drift downward out of your vision, but even if you are stuck with them and even if they are annoying, I think that eventually you'll get more used to them (as I have). You'll probably always notice them to some extent, but hey, it's still a long way from and a lot better than being blind, don't you think?

Yes, I first noticed mine in my early 30's. Over time, a few more have appeared, but I have also gotten more used to them so I notice them less frequently. However, the person who said "don't look at any white walls" had awesome advice... because when I do that early in the morning it drives me nuts. Also, I can't stand to look at the sky on a perfectly clear day since I now get to see these fuzzy moving critters in my eyes. Therefore, while it may be perfectly normal and just a sign of age... it can be very annoying and irritating.

Floaters are considered normal, but any visual changes that are worsening should be checked. Esp. if accompanied by pain, visual loss or sensation a curtain is being drawn down in your field of vision.
When have you last had an eye exam ?
Stay well !

It sounds like a floater to me. about a year and a half ago, i woke up one day with them. i actually have 4 or 5, all in my right eye. They were annoying but i'm used to them now, hardly ever notice them.. I freaked at first, and went to my eye doc, and he said that alot of people have them, including himself, and as long as they don't suddenly get alot worse, or a "curtain" of them block out my vision, its nothing to worry about. Are you near sighted? because that increases the odds that you will have floaters. So, don't panic, but still, it's not a bad idea to go to your eye doctor, just to be sure.

You did not mention your age, but I am 46, and have seen the little boogers for about five years now. I recently had new glasses prescribed, (Not because of the "floaters".) and the Doc said my eyes were fine. Think of them as your eyes way of telling you that you can still see.

I have them. It started with one,now i have a few.
You should see a Doctor if you have a sudden rash of floaters,so they can rule out infection.
Too bad we will just have to live with them. Try not to stare at any white walls :)

I have them all the time. had 'em since I was a kid and sort of got use to them. They don't bother me that much if I eat stuff that contains Thiamine or whatever.

I've meet alot of people who have them. But it seems like most are men. You can have them removed w/laser surgery.
