A JPG must be available for editing. A lot of softwares are capable of edigting JPGs, even MS Paint and Microsoft Photo Editor is OK if you are using Windows XP. There are though a lot of softwares which let you do significant editing steps: ACDSee, Infranview, GIMP and if you have plenty of money (because it's very expensive), Adobe Photoshop is a very smart software letting you make even montages and difficult editing. If none of those work, there may be a write protection (read-only) on your file, try saving it with a different name or change it's attribute so that editing will be permitted.

Hi, you can use Google picasa to help your photography.

picasa is a Google's photo software. It's what should've come with your camera.

It can Edit , organise and Share you picture and small video flips.

It's very easy to use and is free, just like Google
