To best of my knowledge, Eid-ul-Fitr will be on tuesday 24/10/06 in the UK.

Eid is on first day of the month of Shawal. The crescent moon will not be visible in the UK until 24/10/06, and since 23/10/06 will signal the 30th day of Ramadan, Eid will be on the following day ie. Tuesday 24th.
