I'm not sure but theres alot of firecrackers being played now.

My mongrel is starting to sleep longer, is very warm, and seems to be very cold....
He is also less active and has lots of flu.
He vomitted once and is coughing. theres alot of visitors in my house too (they are healthy) but i give my dogs eat their leftovers with their saliva.

can smoke cause allergies to dogs because i had been burning rubbish before which has cause even more smoke and never affected my dogs. so as many types of saliva.

The one that is running a fever( feels warm but acts cold) needs to be on antibiotics. If there are any veterinarians in your area, he needs to see the vet..without antibiotics, there is no way of telling whether he will fight off the disease or not.. Eating leftovers shouldn't have been the cause..

Yes, I had two dogs: Kasey & Jane. They weren't biological siblings, but that didn't matter. One was a cocker spaniel, one was an English pointer. We got Kasey first & then months later, got Jane. We had them about 13-14 years. They both ended up with medical issues. They behaved similar to how you described. Once, Kasey ate a thread with a needle on it & had to have surgery. Jane wouldn't do anything, she slept in his spot until he got home, she guarded him & took care of him when he did come home. Kasey passed away first - 8/1/06. Jane was never the same- she refused to be left alone, she would cry & cry if you tried, not even if you needed the bathroom, she had to go with you. She was so sad without Kasey. She passed away exactly a year later on 8/1/07. It is really sad, it's horrible for us to watch, but just knowing that they're with each other now & not in any more pain is of some comfort. Your babies are so young. Help them stay as close as they want, maybe they can share a bed in a really soft blanket (if they don't already). Kasey used to love Popeye (I'm not kidding), so if they like tv or music, maybe you could use that too. If there is nothing else you can do, then helping them be as comfortable as possible is the best thing you can do. Sometimes you thinking ahead will bring those feelings of grief, and that will prevent you from giving them the extra care they really need right now. Just focus on them. I'm sure they'll tell you what they need. I'll pray for all of you. I hope a miracle happens for them. Wish you all the best.

They may die if you don't get them to a vet. Some dogs will have smoke allergies, second hand smoke is bad for them as it is for us. "People food" is fine for dogs as long as they aren't eating food that's greasy or any grapes/raisins/onions/chocolate. Any of those can cause problems (bad problems). Are you sure your dogs aren't getting into some sort of that rubbish of which you speak? Also what food other than left overs are they having to eat? My answer is still have them seen by a vet as it's nearly impossible to make a proper diagnosis without actually seeing them for ones self.
Edit: As for the one you mentioned has a fever but feels cold. He should be on an IV and quick. Get both your dogs help now or by morning.

Yes take your dog to a vet. Even if your dad won't pay.
Call around in your area I am sure a good caring vet
will work out a payment plan. My only regret was when my 11 year old male dobie got sick last year I Could have taken to him to a vet. Now he is gone and I miss him so
much. He saved my life many times in those 11 years.I
did take him to many vets in the 11 years. But at least he died in his sleep.

Call the Vet ASAP and take them in, could be serious and maybe not. But don't guess at what is going to happen, just take them into the vet's office or a 24 animal hospital.

They could be allergic to the smoke. But if you really care about them you will get off Yahoo answers and call a vet, take them to an emergency vet if needed. They need to be looked at asap.

The dogs are obviously sick. That doesn't mean they'll die, because they can perhaps be treated by the vet. It could be easy to cure them, actually, but only the vet can save them. So go there ASAP.
