Im not preggers yet, but hope soon to be and would like to get tips on cute and fun ways to break it to the first grandparents to be when I am finally knocked up!

Buy them "Worlds best Grandparent's" shirts and rap them up and give them to them as a gift.

Buy a pair of booties or a cute outfit you would want to put on the baby and wrap it up in holiday wrap and give it as a gift. My sister-inlaw is 52 and still uses preggers. I never heard anyone else use it before.

When my husband and I found out we were pregnant it was just before Christmas, so we gave both sets of in laws a baby outfit as a gift. My mother cried her eyes out and my husbands just grinned and said maybe I'll get a grandson this time! All the other grands for her were girls. PS It turned out to be a boy! LOL

unless you get "preggers" out of wedlock, getting "knocked up", with a hubby that is, would make your parents happy. when you finally go to the hospital for an ultrasound, ask a nurse to call them and have them go there but don't tell them why, and when they finally get there, surprise them with your baby's ultrasound pictures.
best to do after assuring that none of you 'rents are at risk for a heart attack. hehehe... good luck on getting "knocked up!"

i think a real cute thing to do is when it happens go and get some baby shower cards, and a pair of baby shoes. put them in a gift bag and give it to them. when you hand it to them tell them, this is a gift just for being my parents. but also get a seperate card and have that attached to the bag, saying high grama and grandpa, im due to come see you on and put your due date there.

you can give them a gift. Grandparents have those photo albums that they are always showing their friends. Put the ultrasound pictures in the album and wrap it up.

make them up a gift box . with all the things the baby is going to need . wright them a note telling them/they are going to need the things to baby set .
