i learnt that the male muslim is reward in 'paradise' with virgins if he does god's will. a muslim cleric said on tv that if a muslim sacrificed himself in the jihad, leaving his beloved family, he will marry 7 (or 70?) wives in 'paradise'.
my question is, what then if a WOMAN dies for her faith, then what? will she get 7 husbands? what does she stand to gain?

Interesting question. I have an unreliable source (my mother, not the qur'an), that says that women do get an equivalent to the 70 "horis", women made of light as their reward in heaven, but they are not mentioned in the Qur'an, only in hadith.
To the person who answered "no more Muslim men", I say: hecks to the yeah! No more men is good enough for me.

the same level of reward a muslim man would, Allah (GOD) does not discriminate........and 70 here is not to be taken literally, what the west does today is try to interprete sprituality in their own lamens tounge.......70 merely means abundant.....if the husband was pious she will live with him otherwise she will marry another man, God may even create a mate for her. It is not in chaste womans nature to have more then one mate....
