Why do people have to broadcast their beliefs in such a way? Isn't humility a virtue?

I'm speaking primarily of Yarmulkes (sp?), Muslim headwear, Xtian scapular (sp?), etc

Yes. As much as people like to act like we should all join together and be one they are too weak and have to think they are special.

religious objects do not agree with the words of the bible

exodus 20:4-6 “You must not make for yourself a carved image or a form like anything that is in the heavens above or that is on the earth underneath or that is in the waters under the earth.  You must not bow down to them nor be induced to serve them, because I Jehovah your God am a God exacting exclusive devotion, bringing punishment for the error of fathers upon sons, upon the third generation and upon the fourth generation, in the case of those who hate me;  but exercising loving-kindness toward the thousandth generation in the case of those who love me and keep my commandments.

Having religious objects constitutes idolatry, which is a sin. 1 John 5:21: "Little children, guard yourselves from idols."

Like what, for instance? wearing a cross, no. wearing a 10 inch platinum cross covered in precious stones yes. wearing a hijab, no, wearing the whole,nothing visible but the eyes through sunglasses outfit, yes.
