I like all foods, except Sushi and anything still alive. I have met people that don't like pizza, chicken, tomatoes, and even watermelon. How can you NOT like watermelon??? Haha. Tell us foods or condiments that you won't eat or have never eaten before because they grossed you out. My son hates even looking at a mustard jar. ( I don't understand this food thing )

Hollandaise sauce is the most revolting thing ever. Caviar is also disgusting to me, and that was before the double gross-out of finding out that was not jam on those little crackers! Coffee smells fantastic but hate the taste. Gross outs I won't try include frogs, escargot, tongue, tripe, sweetbread, lutefisk. Abalone's texture is the worst. Pinapple raw is bad texture, but juiced or cooked on pizza is great!Anything spicy including curry, black pepper, any peppers hurt my mouth and stomach. Store bought tomatoes that are not organic are bad.On the other hand, the sublime, the wonderful, the serotonin-pruducing chocolate makes up for all the rotten tasting foods!

Hey I'm with u I'll try anything once. If I like it I'll eat it again for sure, if not I won't ever put in my mouth no matter who makes it, prejudice that way. I've eaten cat soup at a Vietnamese christening, chocolate covered ants and grass hoppers at the United Nations Building's hall of delicacies of the world, they're considered great in Africa and the ants tasted just like Raisenettes to me, goat head and pig head cheeses hate them both made it the southern US, cow tongue and testicles (never again in my life once was enough), people eat monkey brains in India (I'll pass), some Chinese restaurants serve rats in many different cooked styles (not for me thanks, I saw it on the Discovery channel). So u see this food thing is not just ur son but many other people too who won't try anything that grosses them out just from looking at it or the way it sounds.

Ha, ha, ha!

What a GREAT question!!

I can't stand pickles of any kind, and I can't even touch the jars!! Pickled onions, gherkins, picallili, branston pickle, ABSOLUTELY disgusting things!

I HATE vinegar! I was in a chippie last night and I saw this girl transferring vinegar from one bottle to another, and some of the vinegar got on her hand - I nearly threw up there and then!

I can only eat prawns if they are warm. Couldn't eat prawn cocktail to safe my life!

I love tomatoes, but tomato juice - well it just looks YUK!

Can't think of any more, but I'm sure I've got some other food phobias somewhere!!

I have a total phobia about fish or other types of seafood. It isn't just that I don't like it to eat, I don't even like looking at it, it totally revolts me. I couldn't eat it even to be polite. I had to give up a job on a supermarket checkout because it meant that I had to touch it to pass it through to be packed.
I also detest anything with vinegar in it such as ketchup, Daddies or HP sauce, Piccallilli, mustard, gherkins, or anything else that I can't think of that is pickled in vinegar. Mustard makes me feel sick and that is why I never buy ready made sandwiches as they always put it in them. I don't even eat salt and vinegar crisps.
Coconut is horrible, it never goes away and one can still be chewing it for several hours.
I don't like food which bites back such as Chilli, Mexican food, most Indian food and anything with the word 'spicy' in the title.

While a little better than a Honeydew, Water melon is nevertheless pretty bland. The Charentais melon is however quite delightful.
My hate is melted cheese, I still have nightmares about lobster thermidor with the lobster pulling be into the sauce. The smell!

I am a forced selective eater, mostly anyway. I'm a vegetarian by choice (altho have been given meat accidently and it made me sick!) but can't eat gluten. i always, always hated fish tho, from when i was a kid. the fish counter at tescos makes me feel ill!

My sister is the funniest one, she has a serious phobia of beans, especially baked beans. she won't stand in a kitchen where they're being cooked and if you sit by her eating them she starts wretching! maybe i'm evil but when she use to look after my daughter when she was younger i use to send her with her lunch and always included bakedbeans cause my daughter loves them!

I do not eat any organ meats. I like your son, HATE mustard. I don't like mayo either. I won't eat any food that has touched a pickle. I don't eat vegetables. The only fruit I don't like is bananas.

Heres a little something i learnt on my chef course quite a few years ago!we were studying the cause`s of different types of food poisioning!the subject related to flies and how they spread deceases by eating dead things, then regurgitating on our food causing us to be ill,and yet on the other hand if you were to swollow a fly your body would in fact break the fly down and recieve some benefits, isn`t food strange!!

for me - it's not just a certain food, but what it's made of. my new kick is staying away from food made with partially hydrogenated oils(trans fat)(fake oil). your body cannot process that stuff and they only use it to save a buck. real oils are much healthier.
