I agee, it doesn't show the spirit of respect for the land they are moving into. The ones who support it have a personal interest because it affects others of a similar race or they have some financial reason for supporting it.
And it doesn't matter what country or what race is involved, it is the wrong way to win over a people.

the PRO-CRIME crowd knows that they lie and distort the truth. They cannot back up ANY claims made about either the plight of the illegal nor the economic need they fill in the USA.
To the idiot who wrote "do you want to pick strawberries for ten cents an hour"-Um no and there are NO illegals working for 10 cents per hour anywhere in the US either!
iIlegals are thieves EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THEM!!!
NO MATTER THE RACE, COLOR OR CREED!
ANYONE WHO BREAKS INTO MY HOME (COUNTRY) TO TAKE WHAT IS MINE (ANYTHING THAT BELONGS TO LEGAL PEOPLE, LIKE JOBS OR MEDICAL SERVICES) IS A THIEF!
It is not open to interpretation or debate, truth NEVER is!
Go to Mexico (I use this as a example, because I am there a lot) and listen to the people returning from the USA. buying Hummers, cadillacs and mercedes cars and bragging about the joke of America!
There is not PLIGHT that FORCES them to flee to America!
all it is is greed on their part and the Mexican economy is crap, even though it has more millionaires, per capita, than ANY other country on earth! This is due to institutional corruption. Not our fault, but the USA is paying for it big time!
The Mexican version of 'keeping up with the joneses' is becoming an illegal for a bit so you can live large back home, not out of NEED!
There is a bunch of rhetoric on both sides, but I have seen it first hand, I know of what I speak!
Pro-illegal is PRO-CRIME!!!

It's a tough issue. I think most supporters feel wrong about denying a person the chance at a better life. I mean, really, what did we do to have what we have? We were born here, they were born there. If I was born into a worse life I'd be trying to make it better too. Most illegals would never have had or won't get the chance to get through the process to become legal citizens. After all, we can't afford to make all of Mexico legal citizens. But ultimately, it is sad that some people have it worse off than others, but the US can't support everyone. We don't bring in masses of people from impoverished nations in Africa or Asia, so what makes Mexico different? Proximity? The bottom line is that if we take in everyone who wants to come to America, the better life all these people are seeking will no longer be available, not just to them but to all of the people in this country of average means.

Never Renegade, Never. You hear the same ol sob stories and how we are all humans (blah etc. blah etc. blah etc.)
I could post the laws in hopes that Que Paso (? sp?) would read it, but at this point I seriously doubt he could comprehend that entering this country without proper LEGAL papers is a crime.
The supporters of this crime seems to not grasp that there are procedures to come here for a reason. With such a huge number coming in it is a strain on our resources and tax payers. Not to mention the importing of diseases. The list goes on and on.
And yet they (supporters) still scream "racism" or "they are humans too" or "for certain countries there are no other way to get here legally, that they have to come illegally" (what a crock)

Brother, what of the 3 tribes whos reservation is bisected by the border and now members of their tribes are not permitted to cross freely, even for tribal council meetings? To every rule there must be exceptions. Should not we be exempt to this? Jay's treaty somewhat allows our people to travel unfettered between Canada and the us, howver since 9/11 this too has been cast aside.

The Statue of Liberty was a gift to the U.S. from France, with the title, "Liberty Enlightening the World".
The statue and its symbolism had nothing to do with immigration, but rather hope that the rest of the world would adopt Democracy.
The Emma Lazurus plaque (it is not chiseled in the base), "send me your huddled masses" was added ten years later during the immigration peak of that age.
Some of the negative impacts of illegal immigration follow.
overcrowded and under-funded schools
diseases
increased health care costs
degraded health care service
higher auto insurance premiums
poverty
lawlessness
social conflict
over-population
unemployment
lowered wages
vote fraud
increased crime
illegal drugs
environmental degradation
depletion of natural resources
loss of common language and culture
increased traffic congestion
higher taxes
HUMAN RIGHTS
The United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights states in Article 13, line 2:
"Everyone has the right to leave any country, including his own, and to return to his country."
Article 13 does not provide the right for any global citizen to illegally enter any host nation they so choose. Yet human rights and morality advocates vociferously claim such a right, obviously without justification as such a right is not provided in the widely accepted human rights declaration.
I can factually dispute any argument an illegal can come up with, they don't know what facts and laws are.NO AMNESTY
DEPORTATION NOT LEGALIZATION
SECURE OUR BORDERS
VOTE IN NOVEMBER

quea whatevere is a complete idiot, he thinks he knows everything when he cant even understand a simple law. go figure. but you are completely right.
Yes the statue of liberty may say one thing, but remember america did not make that statue it was a gift from fance and for one they should get back, they dont seem to understand anything that is written on it to begin with.
they will never admit to being wrong though, for the fact that they all seem to think what ever they do is right and what ever everyone else does is wrong no matter what it may be, if you are not like them you are against them.

To be honest they probably will never learn. They are either here illegaly, illegal immigration dosen't affect them due to being in the upper class, they are kin to illegal immigrants or future illegal immigrants, and or they want everyone to be fed but don't relize the cost on citizens who have been here their hole lives. My grandfather fought for this country and so have I. I feel sorry for these illegals coming over here but I cannot put them before I put our own citizens who have fought for this country or their fathers have. Our children need the best education they can have so that they can compete in the growing technoligicaly advanced world but we can't do this while our education systems are being used by none tax payers who don't speak english. They will never learn until it effects them negativly if even then.

We can argue all we want about this issue but, the fact is that they come hear as illegals because this is after all the country of opportunities. I don't support illegal immigration but I do understand that they are only trying to better their families... well most of them. There should be a better way to do this... I mean we have to pay taxes in order for illegal children to go to school and for their parents to receive foodstamps and medicaid and what not.
