Because they are UNEDUCATED. Could you just imagine Christians without proof of the life of Jesus?..or without the Bible to tell us what happened?
Some people are brought up to believe that God is vengeful and punishes people. He doesn't...if we don't punish ourselves...then Satan gets a handle on things and just runs with it. Besides, if these people would actually READ the Bible and try to understand it ...they wouldn't be so quick to judge. But hey, look at it this way...ALLLLLLLLLL us who truly believe will be watching these non believers suffer in the turmoil during Armageddon. Too bad for them, and we could pray for them...??

Good question. But it brings up an even better question. I've often wondered why people can't take some responsibility for themselves and their situations instead of blaming it on an external source like god or Satan. Let's face it - a lot of people are blameless. It's easier to point a finger at someone or something else than it is to take responsibility for themselves and their own actions.

most people don't believe Satan exists, or if they do they believe evil is a force within you or they out and out worship him.
its easier to blame God look at the news when a natural disaster occurs they say its an act of God
when a child dies they say God must have wanted them more.
all totally sick reasoning if you ask me.
why should a God who cared enough to create the human race want to take anyones life let alone the lives of 200,000+ like in the tsunami in Indonesia.
if you are a reasoning person you could not believe that

God's promises is one reason why people tend to blame Him for their woes and the problems in the world. Another is that He created us and unfortunately people seem to feel that He should be responsible to them. He does say He is our Father.
This is purely ironic because some of the people who blame God, in the same breath deny His omnipresence. While others seem to hold on to the idea that if God is so awe inspiring and creative, He should be able to do something for them when trouble hits them.
Satan on the other hand, disguises himself to be invisible so he won't be blamed or fought as the enemy. He strikes very shrewdly at people's weaknesses. He can set up a series of good things to lead you down the wrong path away from God and toward self.

Alot of people don't believe in Satan. Very difficult to blame someone you don't believe even exists in the first place.

Because God is so powerful and we want to believe that because of that he can control everything. We feel if he really does love us why does he let bad things happen to us. When we are angry we tend to forget that God gave us free will. I have blamed God before and I have apologized and asked for forgiveness a lot too. Anger is the issue here. Our anger sometimes control us and we don't think about what we are saying. The devil is to blame for the bad things that happen.

IF you do believe in god and satan, I think people blame god, because they expect more from him than they expect from satan.

I think people think that God should have the power to stop their suffering somehow, so they blame God. Satan's role supposedly is to create obstacles, but somehow people think God's role is to assist them... so if there is no perceived assistance, they blame God. As a general rule, they should probably blame themselves instead.

Oh no!
i disagree, it is easier to blame satan than it is to blame God.
However, God is supposed to so ALMIGHTY powerful that he can be blamed even for the existence of evil. but it is written that in God there is NO Darkness. and in Jesus there is no sin.

"God places this massive ultimatum on us IF we don't settle for Jesus Christ as our lord and savior": no, He would not. it extremely is a universal device mainstream evangelicalism makes use of to scare people, despite the fact that if it extremely is no longer the gospel message. Jesus Christ got here to let us know that all and sundry God needs from us is for us to love one yet another. He pronounced that God grew to become into love, so in case you like others you have God in you, despite the fact that in case you do no longer call Him "God." the character "devil" from the Bible might or won't be a actual entity, yet God did no longer create evil. We did. God isn't the only one that can create issues. the 2nd He gave us unfastened will, we've been co-creators with Him. as quickly as we go with something else to boot love (like concern strategies disguised as proselytizing) we create evil ourselves, and component of unfastened will is living with the consequences of our movements.
